whos knows the dialects of japan? i heard the one from i think osaka one is very popular cause all the comedians are from there but idk please teach me he diffrences and some cool things to say

Hmm...as I have said, I don't know much about the different dialects. I'm researching it, though. So if anything comes up, I'll be sure to post stuff here smile
I do know that the different dialects are like different languages. They are THAT different. Yet another one of the reasons that Japanese is considered a hard language to learn...
Personally, through tidbits I've heard, the Osaka dialect seems the most interesting. whee

Hmm... A friend of mine is from Wakayama... she speaks Kansai-ben when she's around her friends and family, but when shes around someone she doesnt know, she speaks formal Japanese ^_^ It confuses me a bit sometimes, but its mostly lots of slang to me....
