A flicker of light could be seen in the corner of a dimly lit room. The only light provided by lines from the cracks in the wall, along with the small orange dot that occasionally shined brightly as a puff of smoke followed.
Tomi sat silently on a large crate, provided by the rather large warehouse she was currently resting in, her legs hanging loosely from the end that occasionally twitching in anticipation from the silence. She'd been sitting in the dark for at least four hours, and the moans and groans outside seemed to subside. She knew not to let her ignorance get the best of her, so she waited silently.
Not in particular waiting for anything, she let the cig fall from her fingertips as she took one last hit, savoring the nicotine once more and she put it out with a quick twist of her knee-high combat boots.
Whistling rather loudly, like a bird call, Tomi waited for some sort of reply. Weather it be another moan, claw, or one that matched her call. Some sort of noise that would indicate that she wasn't alone.

Beep... Beep... Beep
The same tone of the alarm clock played itself over each second as the alarm clock slowly ticked second-by-second up toward a minute past the hour. Reeve's eyes slid open as he sat up in his bed, the covers had not even been used and he was only wearing a pair of shorts. Turning his tired eyes to the clock, they widened a little as he noticed the time.
"Damnit. AM, not PM. Piece of s**t."
His hand quickly slammed down on the top of the thing to silence it, getting up from his bed and stretching both of his arms out above his head and leaning back slightly. A few rather odd-sounding cracks later and he moved over to the doorway in his room - flicking on the white lightswitch and looking around.
You'd think the guy was some kind of freak, Revolvers in cases lined the walls. Most of them were vintage and unusable but there was still those there that could be used provided he got them out of the cases - something he wasn't about to do if they were in there. The walls of the room were coloured dark blue, the roof white while a dark gray carpet that was slightly puffy adorned the floor. His bed sat in the middle of the room on the north wall, stands on either side with a dresser to the east of it on the wall. Beside the dresser was a closet, though it was rather empty aisde for a single suit and jacket - the things he normally wore on missions.
Walking over to the bathroom door on the west wall, near the south where the door to the rest of his home was - he opened it with his left hand and entered inside - flicking on the light here too as he did so. His bare feet made light clicks across the floor as he went to one of the corners of the room and clicked on a small TV in the corner after getting up on his toes. Not bothering to change the channel, he moved to the sink and turned on the water.
Cupping his hands under the flow, he let some water build up before he splashed it in his face. He repeated the process a few times before grabbing a towel off the rack nearby to dry his face. Turning his head to glance up at the TV, he noticed the thing had no picture or sound - simply static.
"Piece of crap... "
He muttered, the TV was quite old afteralll. Smacking it a few times and not getting anything but static, he turned it off and exited the bathroom, making sure to flick off the light and close the door. His eyes trailed to one of the mounted weapons, one he had ceased using due to memories but he still had it on the wall... His Broken Butterfly.
He remembered the night at the mansion from quite awhile ago, where as far as he knew everyone but him and that girl died. It was something he didn't want to remember yet at the same time it was something that could never be forgotten. Closing his eyes and turning his head side-to-side for a moment, he pushed it out of his mind and moved to his bedroom door. Using his left hand, the man turned the handle and entered into the living room - which was connected to the kitchen. There was another annex room and another door along with the door leading out, most likely a closet and guestroom.
This room was lined with Rifles, from your average bolt-action rifle to your high-powered sniper. Most, like the revolvers, weren't in working order. The only two that were in working order was the UCBS Rifle and the Bolt-Action rifle he had used at the mansion... Both of which he had gotten rid of for other weaponry for the same reason.
Moving over to the blue couch, he took a seat down upon it and glanced around the room. It had the same colour scheme as the rest of the house, however the items in it where different. There was a cabinent or two that was locked with various types of ammunition in it in cases. A couch rested around the center of the room with TV directly across from it. Behind the couch was a table with a few chairs, probably something to eat on whenver he made something.
"Guess I could go check-in to work to see if I got any messages..."

She heard the noisy and annoying alarm coming from Reeve's bedroom. Over the past 9 months of be-freiending him, she finally got his name and was quite happy. She saw him walk post and plop down into a couch. She walked from the Kitchen in a simple Long pair of blue jeans shorts, and a plain white Tee-shirt, with simple red lined sneakers, he hair was combed nicely and had a shine to it, she was hold two cups of coffee and walked into the room with Reeve.
"Good morning you." She said handing him a cup of coffee. "Just like you like it." A smile appeared across her face as she sat down next to him. "I let myself in with the key you made, I hope you don't mind? I just thought I would surprise you." She said nodding.
The past two months she was in Canada, enjoying the Cold weather and relaxing, getting away from the memories for awhile, just to get away from it all. The strange nightmares that haunted her after the Mansion mission, the break she took was good, it helped her, she returned, keeping the old memories out.

When there was no return call, Ray sighed softly in relief. She found comfort in silence after all. Taking the lack of response to her call, Ray hopped from the crate, her boots hissing loudly as they connected with the dusty and molding wooden floor.
Staying in a crouch for a fraction of a second, Ray darted her eyes around the darkness for any sign of movement.
She remembered why she came in the warehouse in the first place and straightened her back. Flicking the hair that continuously fell to her eyes away, Ray started making her way to the top floor. The stairs creaking in protest under her weight.
Ray took her steps slower as she reached the top.
Beads of sweat dripped down her forehead silently as she reached for the dusty handle beside her. As soon as her slender fingers laced with the cold metal, a sudden crash from the first floor broke her silence.
Ray instinctively snapped her head up, her right hand already pointing the pistol in front of her. Ray frowned and slowly moved toward the railing to see over everything. When she found nothing of the ordinary, Ray sighed and figured it was a loose box. It was an old warehouse.
Returning to the door, Ray opened it more roughly. Not wanting to waste anymore time.
The room was small, office like, with numerous papers scattered around. Ray stomped over the papers, carelessly tossing them aside as she walked over to the desk.
Under the desk was an average size file cabinet with a gigantic lock keeping unwanted eyes from opening the cabinet.
Ray snorted and pulled her pistol out, shooting the lock perfectly as it squeaked and unlatched, allowing Ray to enter.
Kneeling down and setting her gun on the table beside her, Ray opened the cabinet, at first all she saw was more papers and Ray growled in annoyance. Throwing the papers out of her way, Ray scowled when she saw nothing at the end of the cabinet. There was supposed to be supplies for her in there!
Ray cursed, kicking the cabinet roughly with her large boots. She didn't care if she was making too much noise, she was told to come here and find her supplies! It was her ticket out of here.
Glaring daggers at the innocent cabinet, which now sported a large dent, Ray stomped out of the room, not even bothering to shut the door behind her.

Reeve picked up the mug, taking a sip of the coffee and setting it back down upon the table.
"Thank y-..."
The little jolt of the hot liquid woke him up further, his head turning slowly to look at her. Narrowing his eyes, he got up from the couch and headed toward his room.
"I'm starting to think that key was a bad idea."
He said, passing through the doorway and back into his room - throwing the door closed behind him so that he'd be able to get dressed and put more clothing on.

She giggled to herself lightly. "Your welcome Reeve." She said also setting her mug down and following him and stopping at the closed door.
"Why you say that?" She said with a childish ring in her tone. "Aren't you happy to see me?" She said but her happy changed as it trailed off softly, she walked over to the case that held her Ex-UBCS rifle, she placed her hand among the glass carefully and a flood of memories came back, the horror of the creatures that seemed always to lurk in the shadows and behind her, plotting her end, and the screams from her fellow members as she watched them die, or try to fight there the terrible battlefeild inside the Mansion.
They had barely made, she barely made, if it wasn't for Reeve, she would have been dead, or would Have Reeve been dead without her? They each used each other, and they each helped each other survive, in there own different ways.
She snapped back to reality and shook her head. "Um yeah...Canada was fun, have you ever been down there Reeve?" She said walking back to the closed door.

"Estatic."
He replied, sarcastically as he got some clothes and began getting dressed.
"Once. Don't remember it though."
He replied to the second question, opening the door and stepping back into the main living room. He now wore a black t-shirt with navy-coloured jeans covering his legs. In one of his hand he had a pair of white shoes with some socks stuffed in them aswell as a black cap, ony he normally wore around.
"You know, I don't remeber you ever saying anything about my collection.. What do you think?"
He asked as he moved across the room to the main door and beside the closet - dropping his shoes to the ground and slipping the hat onto the doorknob.

"Ha-ha" She said in sacastic voice. She walked around the house and looked up and down the vast collection. "It's really nice, amzing I must say." She said pausing a moment on his Broken Butterfly.
"Great gun this one is." She said in a low but loud enough to hear voice. Shaking her head lightly. "Has your collection grown since I left?" She said turning to him with a smile.
She walked over to where he had placed the hat and took it up, landing it on her own head, the same old smirk spread across her face. "Where are you heading to Reeve?" She siad while marching playfully in a dumb old fashion.

Ray sighed, her head resting pitifully in her hands. What was she to do now?
Leaning back against the dusty crate she returned to, Ray allowed her tired eyes to shut. She hadn't had any sleep in over four days, and her body was starting to become weak in fatigue.
However, she couldn't allow her body to rest, she couldn't allow her eyes to shut and fully relax. Not with those creatures running mindlessly through her town. She could return to the police station, but she feared she wouldn't like what she'd see. Perhaps the force had it under control?
Ray shook her head. "I highly doubt it." She mumbled aloud, her voice the once humanoid sound she'd heard in almost a day.
She could barely recognize her voice. It was cracked and low, and her throat burned each time she swallowed.
Ray knew she couldn't stay here forever, so, reluctantly, she hopped from the crate once more. Gripping her pistol protectively as she headed for the door to return to the station.

"A little bit... Not by much though, I have pretty much everything I like.. Though there is some far older and far newer weapons i'd like.. It's hard to get them."
He said, moving away from the door and back over to the couch. Hopping over the back, it tipped up a little as he landed upon it and took a sip of the coffee from the table.
"I'm not going anywhere. When did you get here again?"

"Not too long ago, maybe 10, 15 minutes, I was going to watch T.V but it didn't seem like it was working, so I mainly just sat on your couch and napped." She said with a nod.
She too went over to the couch and sat down next to him, she crossed right leg over her left and rested her hands upon her knees. "I like your house, it's cozy." She said leaning her head back and nuzzling the soft couch.
She sang quietly to herself of a unknown band and looked over at Reeve and smiled.

"Yeah.. The one in the bathroom isn't working either. I think the cable must be out or something, I'll call tomorrow. And if you think it is, then I guess so. Stay the night if you want, I don't care enough to stop you."
He said, quite a strange way of asking but this was Reeve afterall. Leaning back against the couch, he closed his eyes and simply laid there quietly for a few moments.
"How was the ride here?"

"Oh? She said curling up into a ball of the corner of the couch and shut her eyes. "Thank you for the invite." She said the smile appeareing across her face, even though he couldn't see. She yawned. "It was good, unenventful, I felt home when I crossed into the city limit, so nice here." She said yawning again and curling up more if possible.
Lightly and slowly, she pressed off her shoes which fell to the ground with a light thud, shen then again slowly retracted her feet only a few inches away from Reeve.

"What invite? I just said you could stay if you felt like it. I didn't invite you to do anything."
He replied, leaning forward to take another drink of the coffee. Setting the glass down, he picked up the TV remote and flicked it on - flipping through the channels to see if maybe one was working at least.
