I'm pretty sure all of us have heard the emo song, but if not:

But the part of "Screw Xbox, I play old school Nintendo" but in reality it seems that the "emo choice" is Nintendo as a whole.

But it makes me wonder... why is it that the general emo group is sided to Nintendo? Sony gaming isn't that much younger than Nintendo's gaming. Even if we're talking that much timespan between their births, the fact is that the Playstation 1 is old enough to be called "old school"

Seriously, how was this decided? Did all the emos just get together and decide on one conforming gaming community?
