Whaat? There are gonna be free breeding slots? *IOLA/ANCI ATTACK*
Iola: *is pushed into Anci* Oof! Hey, what was that fo-- oh. Hello. *looks up at him* Uhm. I think my feathers are caught in your wings. *flails helplessly*
Anci smiled, "And i think my wings are caught in your feathers". He purposely stretched them out further so they were more intangled in Iola's feathers.
Iola, at a rather awkward position while entangled in Anci's wings, craned her head and tried to free her wings from Anci's. She couldn't QUITE see his face, which was a little unnerving, but... "I'm terribly sorry." "I don't quite have control of them all the time..." she arched her shoulderblades and flapped her wings, causing them both to lose balance and fall over in a furry, feathery, winged heap.
Anci blinked, next thing he knew he was on the ground with a colorful winged Efui. He slowly stretched his paws out and manged to regain his stance. "Are you okay? That was some fall," He bent over and helped her up slowly. "Guess we should be more careful."
Iola blushed and stood up, shakily flapping her wings and resettling them on her back. "I guess we should," a small laugh escaped her chest. "I'm sorry, again. I can be a bit clumsy at times." Looking the other efui up and down, Iola was impressed. He was beautifully colored, and his wings...
She bowed her head to him politely, spreading her wings and angling them towards the ground in a gesture of respect. "I'm Iola. It's a pleasure to meet you."
Anci laughed, "No need to be so respectful," He stopped laughing and smiled kindly. "I'm Anci, and its a pleasure to meet such a kind efui as your self." He blushed alittle, he wasnt very use to being around females, or other eufi in general. He tended to keep to him self mostly.
Iola relaxed at Anci's smile and calming laugh. She also was not used to being around other Efui, especially with other adults. Most of the Efui she had met before had been younger than her... "It's good to meet you too, Anci." She casta glance around her and then eyed the other Efui's wings. She had never met another winged Efui before. A smile spread across her face. "I don't suppose you'd want to go for a fly with me, would you?"
"I would be delighted," Anci said with a grin on his face. He hadnt gotten much exersize in a long while with his wings. He stretched his leatherly bat wings out and began to slowly flap, the efui lifted from the air in a slight hover as his strong wings hummed. "I forgot how good it felt to use my wings," he smiled at Iola, "Your turn," He said as he levitated higher off the ground.
Iola laughed and bent her hind legs, crouching down and then leaping into the air, her wings flapping. She rose quickly and then hovered above Anci. "I live in the upper canopy of the forest, so I can't forget it," she grinned, doing a backflip in the air in front of Anci. "Want to come see?"
Anci a bit stunned nodded his head," You live in the upper level? Must be nice," He grinned. "You should teach me how to do a back flip some time."
"Such a glorious day it is." Chimed a pleasent voice through the meadows, skipping through carefree. The voice flew from a unicorn efui, gracefully skipping around the meadows.
The unicorn was an incredibly blue color, with light white markings tatooed on. Her mane and tail was a silvery white color, streaked with a sun-filled yellow color. Near her tail was a sun marking, looking as if a toodler drew it on and it was never washed off.
Galloping through the meadows she then noticed to flying efui, one who took on the appearance of a parrot and a purple demon winged efui, with black stripes that made him appear as a unnatural tiger. Smiling with glee she pranced towards the two flying figures, hoping to meet them. And then perhaps they can have a cup of tea with some crumpets, discussing about their favorite colors and hobbies.
Iola nodded happily and flew over next to Anci. "Yes, it's beautiful. The sun, and the flowers..." she trailed off and looked over to the other Efui out of the corner of her eye. "I'd love to teach you sometime," she said softly, blushing a little. She stared at him for a moment and then turned back towards the forest. "Well, shall we?" She was about to go soaring off towards her home when she spotted the glint of the unicorn below. Flapping her wings backwards to slow down, she let her tail hang below her as she looked down at the strange-looking creature. "Is that an Efui?" she asked Anci, her voice touched with confusion.
Anci flapped his wings backwards as well seeing Iola had slowed down. "Another Efui?" He blinked and looked below, "A unicorn Efui, not something you see every day," He grinned as he desended slowly. He was still overing over the ground but low enough to be eye level with the unicorn Efui. He cocked his head side ways not knowing if this new Efui was friend of foe.
Sunbeam then noticed a femine voice, calling out. But the voice was calling...from nowhere?
The unicorn swung her head left and right, looking for the source of the voice. Of course the naive optimistic unicorn had not thought of looking up to the cumulus clouds, so she had not noticed the floating efui above her. So she continued to look in any direction possible (besides looking up into the sky) and found no trail of the voice maker.
"Hello?" She said, pondering on where the voice could possibly come from. Stuck in a fit she gasped in slight amusement, with a hint of horror, and started to run in circles. "Is there a ghost? I thought you spooky phantom guys only came out during night time!" With that last statement she added a slight eep! and wailed in fright.
She then noticed another efui, this one purple with stripes, coming into eye contact with her while still floating. Twitching her eye lightly she stepped back cumsly, almost tripping over her own hooves in the process. Looking at the purple striped efui, attempting to make her twitch stop, she did the only thing she could.
Faked fainting in gasping fright.
"WAH!! SHE DIED!" Anci said as he landed and rushed to the unicorns side batting at her with her paw. "Please dont be dead!" He had never seen anything die, let alone die right in front of him. "Iola do you think she is fine?" He looked up at Iola with concerned eyes.
Iola swooped to the ground and landed at a run just as the Unicorn Efui fell to the ground in what appeared to be a faint. Blinking up at the hovering Anci, she raised a sarcastic eyebrow. "A little excitable, are these unicorns?" she asked, reaching a paw out to poke at the fallen efui. “No, I don’t think she’s dead, Anci.”
Sunbeam lied out in the grass, faking a sleeping faint. She had done it quite convincingly too. Well done Sunbeam, well done, she told herself incourgingly. Blinking her eyes, fluttering them a bit she poked her head from the ground and shook it a bit. She sighed with a smile, closing her eyes intelligently.
"Yes I am quite fine thank you," she started, eyes still closed with a smile. "But I still am looking for the-"
And from that point she had opened her glossy eyes to reveal the parrot colored efui and purple efui with black stripes and twicthed her eye again. Two winged Efui, one feathered and one demoned and with that let out another shrieking eep, and jumped off the grass, staring in confusion and fright at the two winged efuis.
Anci jumped back from the eeeeking unicorn and looked at Iolsa than back at the unicorn. "First she's dead than she comes back to life," He tilted his head a tad confused on what to think.
Iola jumped backwards as the unicorn let out her sudden shriek. Settling her wings on her back, she eyed the unicorn warily and inched closer to Anci. "Is she...What's she...?" Iola shook her head and took a step towards the unicorn. "look, we're not going to hurt you..."
"You-you can fly," she started, her words trembling. "And you're all like striped and stuff and...and...wait-" she paused, letting the demon winged Efui's words sink into her brain. Only moments later she let out a smile and giggled.
"You thought I was dead. Wow," she giggled, prancing around gracefully. "And they all said I was a horrible actress! Well I showed them," she finished, giggling a bit at her words.
She then noticed the parrot colored efui telling her that they wouldn't hurt her and sighed. "Hope sooo~ If you do I'll be afully sore about the manner." With that Sunbeam sighed, getting prepared to introduce herself.
"I am-" she paused, majestically prancing around, "the most purest and prettiest unicorn in all the land! Any man who has came across me has flown off their feet! For I am-" She paused dramatically again, spinning around a few times and smiled.
"Sunbeam, the bright sunny unicorn efui!"
"Unicorn Efui eh," Anci smiled, "Its nice to meet you Sunbeam, My name is Anci, the stiped winged purple Efui," He stretched his wings out showing them off. They were pretty to look at but truth be told that Anci wasnt the greatest when it came to using them.
Iola, on the other hand, was a pro at using her wings. Spreading the multi-colored feathers wide, she flapped them and kicked up a bit of a wind. "Yes, we can fly," she remarked, laughing at the unicorn's erratic little performance. "I'm Iola. The Macaw Efui." She tilted her wings toward the ground and bowed her head. "It's a pleasure to meet you. What are you doing wandering around these parts?"
Sunbeam let her eyes wander from Iola to Anci, wondering on some silly thoughts of hers.
"You two look so nice together~" She pranced around with a giggle, but after a while of boasting her prancing she stopped and looked at them again "Tell me when's the wedding, so I can attend it."
She paused and mused. "Of course we'll need decorations. Perhaps some sunny streamers and a snow white wedding cake! Oooh and I can get my friend to take lovely photographs."
Anci cocked his head to the side again, confused. "Whats a wedding?" Anci being a bit of a loner had never heard that word or attended one. He was confused about what the unicorn efui was ranting about. But if there was cake it must be alot of fun, and streamers too. "Sounds like fun? But why would we be having a wedding?" It pieced together it was some kind of party, but that was about it. If their was cake, it had to be a party.
Iola raised her eyebrow at Anci as if to say 'This one's a little off'. (She had no idea what a wedding was either and thought Sunbeam was more than a little off her rocker. But hey. The unicorn was promising them cake, so it couldn't be a bad thing, right?)
She decided to humor the obviously-delusional unicorn.
"Um, yeah. Wedding. It's actually, um..." here she cast a glance at Anci for help. "...not planned yet?"
Sunbeam paused for a while, allowing what the two had told her sink in. After a few moments she giggled out a bit and sighed.
"A wedding, you sillies," she paused and twirled around again, "Is the bonding of two lovebirds. When the lovebirds feel strong feelings for each other, they bond their spirits with the sound of chruch bells and sparkling rings of true harmony, which they wear till the darkness pardons them!"
With that Sunbeam pranced around Iola and Anci and giggled. "In others words: I think you two make a splendid couple," she quickly remarked, pushing the two a bit closer together.
"Couple?" Anci rubbed his head with his paw. "But we just meet." He said blushing. Iola was very pretty, but they had only known each other for such a short period of time.
Iola raised her eyebrows at Sunbeam's over-enthusiastic explanation. Seriously, half the time she had no idea what that thing was saying. But she did catch the word 'lovebirds'.
"Oh, no!" she blushed and looked over at Anci. "We're not a...couple. We've only just met!" Anci did seem like a very nice efui -- even though he did need a little more practice with his wings -- but she wasn't sure that she felt That Way about him ... at least not yet.

Flying lessons<3
Anci had just woke up from a nap he was having. He arched his back as he stretched and yawned.
Iola padded softly over to Anci and sat down next to him. "Hey. How was your nap?"
Anci blushes and nuzzles back. His wings stretched out and covered Iola under neath.
Iola smiled gently and lay down next to the purpley efui, entwining her tail with his as his wings spread out to cover them. "How are you today, love?" she asked, her ears swiveling.
Anci knelt down next to Iola, "I am rather tired today," He said with a grin. "But being around you has given me more energy."
Iola smiled sweetly and flicked her tongue out to lick Anci's cheek lovingly. "That's so sweet," she said, pressing her forehead against his and breathing in his smell. "Do you think you have enough energy to try a flying lesson?" a playful smirk crossed her face.
Anci jumped up onto all fours as soon as he heard the word'Flying lessons'. His ears perked up and his winged where stretched out ready to go. "I am always up for that!" He said with a flare of excitement.
Iola burst into laughter at Anci's excitement -- sometimes he could be just like a child, and that innocence was part of what she loved about him. The Macaw Efui stood up next to him and stretched her wings out, flexing them as if to test her muscles. "Alrighty," she said, a determined look on her face. "I'm not quite sure how this will relate, since the structure of your wings seems to be a little different than mine, but let's just try it." She cast a glance at her lover out of the corner of her eye and smiled. "Spread your wings, raise them up as high as they can go --" she demonstrated while she spoke -- "and bend your legs as if you were about to pounce. Then jump, kick off from the ground, and flap hard." With that, Iola sprung into the air.
Anci did what she said, his wings spread high up and his legs bent like he was about to pounce. He Leaped into the air flapping his wings hard as he could, it was an alright take off, but wasnt in perfect form. He fluttered in the air with his bat wings flapping the best they could, "How was that?" Anci asked with hope in his eyes.
Iola smiled sweetly down at Anci. "Very good. With practice you'll be a pro. Now," she said, folding her wings a little and swooping down to plant a kiss on Anci's forehead before spreading them and flapping back up again. "You have the basics down. What would you like to learn?"
Anci blushed. Iola's kisses where so soft, "Hmmmm," He thought long and hard about what he wanted to learn. Than it came to him, "I would like to learn how to do a barrel roll," He looked down at the ground a tad embarrased he didnt have a barrel roll down.
Iola smiled and pulled Anci's lowered head up with a tap of her tail on his chin. "Don't look like that," she said, smiling and sticking her tongue out playfully. "There's nothing wrong with not knowing. I've just been flying my whole life."
And then, with a flick of her wingtips, Iola tilted to the side and rolled over herself completely. "Barrel rolls are pretty simple, once you've got the hang of them. You just tilt one wing downwards in the direction you want to roll," she demonstrated, pointing her right wing toward the ground, "and then tuck your paws, and the air will bring you around."She rolled again, gracefully swooping back next to Anci. "Now you try."
Anci dipped his wing down and felt his body move more and more to one side until he losted his balance and was falling upside down. He made a quick recovery before touching the ground and managed to flip over right side up. He landed, not perfectly at all it was more of a plop than a land, on the ground. "Hmmm, think i need some practice."
Iola swooped down and came to a landing, cantering a few feet before losing her momentum and turning back toward Anci. "Eheheehee," she laughed good-naturedly, leaning down to help her lover up. "Well, practice makes perfect," she said, smiling and flicking her tail behind her. "Do you think you understand it or do you need me to explain again?"
" I understand I think," He said as he lept in the air with his wings out flapping them as hard as he could. "I think i need practice." He said as he flew over her and kissed her on her head.
Iola laughed and blushed a little. "See? You're a pro at takeoffs already," she said, springing into the air herself and following after him. "This time, try not to let your weight shift too much. There'll be a moment where gravity wants to pull you down when your wings are vertical, but just keep turning." She swooped in a circle around him and then flew up to him from below, her head nuzzling his chest as she passed.
Anci blushed after being nuzzled. "Okay, I'll try it again," He said as he spread his wings out and started to shift his wieght just a smidge until he felt gravity doing it for him, he flipped back onto his belly and back right side up again, "I think i just did it!" He smiled happily.
Iola smiled gleefully and flew up to him, wrapping her forelegs around his neck and nuzzling his cheek while their wings flapped, keeping them aloft. "You did!" she said, her voice full of pride for him. "Soon you'll be good enough to teach our children."
Anice nuzzled his head under Iola's chin. "With a lot more practice i might beable to" He said as he licked Iola on the cheek. He grinned looking up at her.
Iola blushed happily and nuzzled closer to Anci, pressing her chest against his and flapping her wings less frequently so they lowered slowly to the ground. "I can't wait," she whispered, almost to herself.
Anci's wings flapping also slowed down as he desended after Iola. He didnt hear what she whispered to her self because he was ussaully oblivious to his surroundings. As his paws touched the ground he pawed over to his lover.
Iola smiled up at him and licked his cheek once more, leaning her head in and nuzzling up against his neck and chest lovingly. "What would you like to do now? Practice some more?
"Not right now, I like snuggling more," He said with a grin.
Iola laughed and pounced on Anci, pushing him over onto his back and sitting on him. "How do you like it now?" she asked, smirking rather evilly at him.
Lurking in the shadows, unknown to Iola and Anci, was a light blue unicorn. She was very sneaky and upbright and had predicted that the two would be together at one point. It had made Sunbeam, feel particulary proud that she was right. Then again when wasn't she right? Never, I thought so!
Anywho, lurking in the bushes shadows, Sunbeam giggled silently at the two lovebirds pounce on each other. She couldn't help but let a smirk creep up on her lips. It was highly amusing how she was right about the two Efui.

A cold winter night...
The december air was cold and windy. Light snow flurries began to fall to the ground from the grey sky's. "We may be having a storm soon," Anci said as he stared at the out side from their warm cave. "I dont know how safe it is to go out there to get food. It's cold and may really start to snow soon." Anci was talking to him self and to everyone around. He tended to do that. "Maybe I should wait a bit before going out?"
Iola yawned and stretched, lifting her head up from where it was curled next to their two babies. Her eyes followed Anci to where he was standing at the entrance to their cave and she shivered as she saw the flakes of snow falling and felt the chill wind blow across her fur. She frowned and curled herself more tightly around the two efui bags. "Don't go out in that, Anci," she said, a worried look on her face. "It'll be much too hard to fly properly. And you could catch cold..." Iola was used to the warm tropical weather in the rainforest canopies and didn't like the cold. At all.
Anci shivered. "But what about food?" He asked. He didnt want his wife and two bags to go hungry. He glared at the windy out side. "I think it will be fine if I walk. It's to windy by flight but by foot I should be fine." He said smiling at his wife and two bags.
Iola's face fell and she unwrapped herself from around the bags, walking slowly over to her lover but keeping her wings wrapped around herself to keep out the cold wind. "I think we'll be fine for another day, at least," she said, snuggling up to Anci and casting a glance back at their food stores. "Please don't go out tonight. I'm afraid something will happen to you...it's so cold and dark..."
Anci sighed then smiled at Iola. "I'll wait another night dear." He said as he curled up around the bags. It was a windy night and he didnt want to have Iola worry about him. Maybe after the storm had passed.
Iola padded back over to where Anci had curled around the bags and snuggled beneath his wing, trying to gather some heat from his soft body. She peeked warily outside the entrance of the cave. The wind howled. "It looks like it's getting worse out there...I hope we don't get snowed in." A worried look crossed her face and she wrapped her tail around Anci's before opening one of her feathery wings and spreading it over the two bags. "I suppose we should have wintered in the rainforest, but it would have been to difficult to move the twins..." She sighed. and cuddled closer to them. "I hope they're warm enough."
"Maybe after the snow storm stops we can make our way there. If we dont get snowed in." He had a worried look on his face. He nuzzled against Iola to keep warm. He was worried that if they got snowed in they may starve. They had food but not enough to survive very long off of.
Iola leaned up and licked Anci's cheek, a worried look still on her face. "Do you think it wise to move the bags? Can we carry them safely between us?" she looked down at the bags and saw the yellow-and-blue striped tail twitch back and forth slightly, as if it knew she was looking at it.
"I'm not sure." He said nuzzling the bags. "They seem like they may pop out at any moment. Maybe if we wait a bit. But I dont know how long we can wait." He was worried but he didnt want Iola to worry so he faked a smile.
In response to Anci's nuzzling, the bags let out a few squeaking noises and flopped around a bit beneath Iola's wings. "Indeed...perhaps they will emerge soon...it would definitely be much easier to move them if they had their own legs to walk on..." She saw Anci's strained smile and chuckled softly. "Anci, my love, you worry too much." Snuggling in closer to him, she leaned up and gave him a small kiss. "We'll be fine for at least another day or two, and we can survive much longer if we have to. Let's just...wait and see what tomorrow brings." She smiled up at him, trying to diffuse the tense situation with a bit of hope.
Anci purred softly. He loved Iola's attitude to the situtation. She was right they would most likely be fine. "We can dig threw the snow if we get snowed in anyways." He said with a smile. They did have big paws and claws. Snow wasnt like rock. It was cold but soft and easy to dig threw. Even easier than soft dirt. He set his head down as he watched the bags move. The bags seemed pretty restless. The yellow and blue one seemed more active than the red and purple one.
Iola shivered slightly at the thought of digging through all that cold snow, but she knew she would do it if she had to. She would do anything if it meant saving her children. Anci seemed more accustomed to the cold, but she supposed that was to be expected, as he hadn't grown up in the heat of the rainforests as she had...
She turned her attention to the bags and laughed. "This one seems to be a little feisty," she said nuzzling at the yellow and blue tail. "We may have trouble with her."
"Yeah seems like we have a trouble maker on our paws." Anci snickered. He spread his wing out and covered Iola more with it. He could tell she was cold. They had grown up in different parts of the island. He was more acustom to the cold. He didnt like to see Iola shiver.
Iola smiled and snuggled closer into Anci. "I'm sure we'll be busy when they hatch," she said, curling her tail around the bags and nuzzling into Anci's chest. "But for now, let's worry about getting a good night's sleep and hoping the snow stops by morning. Good night, Anci. I love you." The macaw efui smiled, closed her eyes, and fell asleep.
Anci blushed. He loved his lover Iola so much, "Your so cute you know that. I love you so much," He put his head on top of hers and closed his eyes. "I'll see you in the morning dearist." He said as he yawned. He could hear her breathing softly. That made him relax and fall asleep faster.
