When do you think you'll hang up those controllers and just move on?

Shaun ALMOST did. I might do so, seeing that there are so many real world problems theres almost no time for my child hood love for gaming.

I can see myself being less and less of a gamer after college, but never lose my gaming habits all together.

With each generation comes that one game that I play through the whole generation until the next sets of consoles come out.

Gaming helps with hand-eye coordination. Yes, you can argue that you can just do sports to develop that, but the human body can only take so much abuse and has to stop eventually to rest (even the best atheletes have to do that).

But with gaming, you're just wasting physical energy to push buttons/move joysticks. In turn, it gives you more time to hone your hand-eye coordination. I'm not suggesting do this 100% over sports or any phyiscal activity at all because indeed the human body does need some honing too.

But by this logic, I really think it's needed. Yes, with my adult life I'm finding myself less and less time to game. But sometimes shoot, I just don't sleep for 24 hours >_>

Also, eventually I want some kids of mine. With multiplayer/party games, I can have family fun time with my kids ^_^

As of right now, I'm not much of a gamer. But I will be in the future, once I get a job and money. Then I can buy all the games I look forward too, instead of just lying around waiting for them to go down to $20.

Remember during the summer when I fell off the face of the earth for about two weeks?

Why should I quit? I have friends, a job, I go to school, to parties, I read a lot and I play games. I'm not gonna quit soon, except if I got children then I should put gaming on stand-by but that's not gonna happen soon so...

Well... hmmm.
My video game-playing-ness has kinda slowed in the past few months...
My GCN is broken, and I've never really cared for the PS2. Don't get me wrong, there are a few PS2 games that I just couldn't put down, but I loved my GCN and the games that went with it so much more. Ugg, I'm so Metroid Prime deprived. xP
So really, all I've been playing since about last November (when my brother broke the GCN and then didn't tell anyone) has been my DS, and casually a little PS2 here and there.
This is the least I ever want to be playing games. I know that if I play any less, I'd probally stop completely, and wouldn't restart for quite some time.
I'm quite busy with work, school, and costuming, and the last game I got was Ouendan in... July.
Well, I'm trying. I'm trying to play more. I usually either find now that I have no idea what I was doing when I put a game down, or I'm right at the end, and was kinda stuck in like 85% of the games I own XD

It's like when people "leave" an internet community, often with a big fuss on the way out, but always manage to come back just a week later.

I lose interest when there's a lack of games that keep me interested. As of now, the only game I really care about playing is Lego Star Wars 2(which I've almost finished everything in). But as soon as something new and interesting comes out, I'll be into gaming again. That's what I'm expecting at the end of the year.

Right on, dude.
And with all that electron bombardent occuring on the screen/monitor all the time and the chance that it could mutate your reproductive cells, you'll need a way to interact with your kids in case they are born without legs. wink

Maybe play less.

...but I will never stop.

Shoot, most of us will need to drive to work (if you're not working yet) and you'll NEED that hand-eye coordination if you want to not crash xp
