Twilight, Dawn and Harmony walked into the Ball room each of them dressed in their best outfits. Twilight in a dark violet red tuxedo, Dawn in a bright blue gown, and Harmony was dressed in a black ball gown which was mysteriously left on her bed next to her Mother. All wore masks matching their outfits.

"Very beautiful... in it's own dark way.." Commented Dawn as she looked around.

"The music isn't bad..." Twilight said rather boredly. "But I won't dance if that is what you're wondering."

Dawn smacked him in the back of the head. Twilight glared at his sister.

"I wish Mother came with us. But she said she wanted nothing to do with the ball, or... my father." she finished through her gritted teeth.

"Destiny has always been stubborn... in her fashion. She is still with that dumb black alicorn... Like as if he's going to help her think about this and give her guidence..." Twilight snorted taking a wine glass in his hand. "Glad this isn't Elderberry..." Looks around for Kenjin. "Kenjin doesn't need it."

Harmony just stood by the window gazing up at the tower which was the girls dorm. At the only lighted window. "I wish mother changed her mind about coming."

Roxas, Hateshi, Gabriella, and Namine walked in silently in their 18th century ballroom clothing and individual masks. Roxas had half of a white Phantom of the Opera mask, Namine had a mask shaped like a silver mask that covered her face from her forehead to the tip of her nose, Gabriella had a simple golden sun mask that covered about as much as Namine's mask did, and Hateshi wore a simple black covering over his mouth like a ninja.

"Roxas... are you sure this is a good idea to bring our whole family?... minus our mother," asked Namine as she held Gabriella's and Roxas's hands. This place was creeping her out.

Hateshi walked ahead of his family then stopped in front of a black chair with silver dragon hair spiraling up it's legs. Turning his head, Hateshi felt a slight shiver run up his spine as he eyed Dassan the one who threatened and killed the lives of the Drakes. He gritted his teeth and tried to look away.

Roxas looked down at Namine, smiling,"Of course. I doubt he'd attack us after he told us that this ball was only going to be a sort of 'Goodbye' ceremony. And if he did, then Dassan's an idiot." Roxas noticed Namine shiver in fear as she eyed Dassan himself sitting on a black throne. "Don't worry, we'll be fine. I promise."

"I'm scared," said Gabriella, clinging to Namine's dress,"Everything looks so...dead here...." She recieved a hug from both Roxas and Namine who told her everything was going to be alright, though Gabriella had her doubts...

Daggera walked in an her tighy leather dress and fishnet tights she had on buckle boots as well and her hair was up in a complex braid.

Saria was wearing a white dress and simple shoes as she walked in with a half mask on that was also white.

Queince walkied in with future. His costume was supposed to make him look like future but his purple skin gave him away so he'd just worn the dress.

Future walked behind Queince. She had laughed when the little boy had saked for one of her dresses but had let him wear it for tonight. She herself was weatinf a cat ear band and mask for the ball.

Riocalosho had Stalled on his was up to dassans room and the announcement had come out so he'd gone to get his tux. He now stood in his jet black tuxedo as he held the door open for his sisters and brother.

Spike Swings his scyth aroudn figuring dassan isn't here yet.

Namine nearly jumped in surprise, but tried to stay calm as she faced the one who had said her name,"H-hi..."

Hateshi was tempted to attack Dassan the feeling of hate bubbling inside him. "No..." he whispered as he passed the great Death Dragon,"Not yet... I'll wait..."

Dassan glared at Spike. "This room is mine to make look like what ever i please for reasons i don't have to disclose to you." He spat.

Rio grinnes. "You're Namine aren't you? My name's Riocalosho, Rio for short though."

Namine blushed timidly," Yes... er... so... are you in the tournament too, Rio?"

Gabriella hid behind her sister's dress. Normally she wouldn't be so afraid of strangers, but in a castle made of...who knows what... and an insane Death Dragon you can never be too sure who's the enemy and who's your friend.
