Paws slided easly over the ground, ears perked foreward. A few rocks were clamped in the juvenile wild dog's maw, each in odd, shiny colors, likely why he carried them. Kutu liked rocks, and the graveyard seemed to have rocks, or thats what these white stuff seemed like from far.
Wich later, had been discovered to be bones, and he was still around here at the graveyard. At the outskirts, where there weren't many bones. Unfortunately, some were small and spiky, explaining the lag on one of his hind paws.
"Ba, ma wo ike. "
Not that they ever liked it when he wandered off. Maybe it was because now they had two blind pups, one was born blind, and the other just recently. Kutu was the largest of the litter, first born and healthy.
"Ooo? Ayon are? "
He barked out, muffled by the rocks.

 Kelello found she had wandered farther than her intentions when the bones in the distance lost shape, and were merely clumps of white on the horizon. She paused to taste the air. Murky, it seemed; wet and smelling of foreign creatures that she had never before seen. The pup gave a gasp, and whirled her head around. She was at the Graveyard's edge, nearing the Watering Hole.
She began to pad back, cautiously and slowly. Something about not being amid the bones of the Graveyard seemed eerie to her.
She stopped suddenly, kicking up dirt. Did something move? Speak? Kelello whirled around. "Who's there?", she demanded weakly.

Ears perked as another voice hit him. Someone had heard him, hoorey! "Uut! " He blinked. No one could understand him with the rocks in his mouth. Grudgingly, the young male set the stoes between his front paws and licked his chops.
"Kutu! " He barked out. "Kutu's here! " A tail offered a slight wag, when he remembered that there were stories about mean-ish things around the graveyard. Almost emediately, the prince crouched down over his rocks, ears flat.
"Are you gonna eat me? " He yipped out, unable to see the other.

"Eat you?", Kelello echoed, peering curiously out from behind a rock.
As she took in the creature, a warm, comforting scent enveloped her. It was so familiar .. suddenly, Kelello pictured herself much younger, and felt the warmth of fur brushing against her pelt as she slept among a mass of other puppies.
"Kutu?", she repeated, with her eyes widening. He looked like her.. the long ears, tail, frame.. "What are you?", she asked, stepping cautiously forward.

Ears perked as the creature showed up. No, it didn't look like thos ebad things he'd heard about. He lowered his defences slightly, allowing his fur to relax.
"Ya, cause I heard of things here that eat puppies. " He frowned, blinking. "Ya, I'm Kutu. "
This one was the same species as he, he realised after a few moments. But.. It didn't notice. "I'm a wild dog, like you are! " He said indignantly, how could she not know what she was?

"Eat puppies?", Kelello gasped, looking nervously around. "You don't mean hyenas, do you?", she asked, peering more closely at the other puppy.
She began to step forward when the familiar words hit her. Wild dog. Shira had called her a wild dog .. but Kelello had assumed this was another bad name. The way Kutu said it, it seemed like a title. It felt familiar, in the same way Kutu smelled and looked.
"I'm not a wild dog", Kelello responded, "I'm a slave. That's what Mafa says I am."

The juvenile nodded, lifting from his rocks only to sit down next to them, perhaps slightly behind as if they could protect him. His tail curled slightly around his forepaws, head tilted.
"Ya, you wild dog. " He nodded, how neat it felt to be smart like Kasida! "Slave is like a rank, I think. But its not what you are. "

"Really?", Kelello asked, blinking, and nervously stepped forward to sniff Kutu.
"You smell like something I've smelled before", she muttered. His familiar aroma filled her senses, and made her feel warm, despite the winds blowing off the foliage in the distance.
"I didn't know Mafa had another slave," Kelello inquired, grinning. Finally, she had someone to keep her company.. or atleast so she thought.

"Yup! " He grinned, and blinked as she sniffed him. "Course, caus you're mama and papa gotta be wild dogs too! " His tail wagged, but ceased at her next question.
Instead, its tucked beneath his hind paws, and he recoiled, ears flat. "No! " He whined. "I'm not a slave, " Kutu exlained. "My mama and papa are alphas! So I'm uhhh.. rinse or whatever you call it. "

Kelello's eyes widened. "What's a mama and papa?", she asked, tilting her head to the side.
She snorted playfully at Kutu's reaction to her last comment. "But you have to be a slave," she giggled, "'Cause you look like me", she said with a satisfied nod.
"I thought your name was Kutu, anyways," she muttered. "Sorry, Rinse."

"Um.. they take care of you and teach you neat stuff! " He said, wagging is tail. His paws lifted and lowered, as if he wanted to run or something. This one was pretty funny. "Who's Mafa? "
"Nu-huh. Cause I'm a rinse! " He grinned proudly, puffing up his chest, before whining. "My name is Kutu! Rinse is my.. my.. " He tilted his head. He forgot what that was.

"Wow!", Kelello exclaimed, flicking her ears and tail in excitement. "You're very lucky."
Kutu's next question alarmed her. "Who's Mafa? She's the bosslady! How can't you know?" If you didn't know Mafa .. then you were an outsider; a rogue. She wondered if Kutu had his own Mafa. Nothing about him made sense to Kelello, and it startled her that they could be so different and yet so alike.
"Sorry again, Ri--Kutu", she said, smiling wearily. What trouble she'd be in if Mafa came upon her now..

He shook his head. "Dunno Mafa. " He shrugged. Why was Mafa such a big deal? His tail offered a slight wag, clearly not understanding a thing.
"Whats your name? I dun remember you saying you name! ' He blinked, smiling.

Kelello shook her head. Kutu was clearly just ignorant. There was no way he couldn't know Mafa. He looked like her. Therefore he must lead the same life.. even though he was a 'rinse. Mafa ruled Kelello's life, as did Tibuka, so surely..
Kelello shook her head. "My name is Kelello", she said quietly, blushing, "I'm sorry, I forgot to introduce myself. It's rude not to." She could remember being told this before, by a sweet voice that followed her everywhere. It was gone now. The young juvenile wondered why.

He gave a few paces over his rocks while she remained quiet, as if trying to visualise the way they shimmered from all angles. He approved all of them, but these white stuff round here were so weird..
"I'll call you Kello! " He squeaked suddenly, as she finishedsaying her name, and sat down next to his rocks again. "Cause I prolly won't remember your whole name. Like my dads name. " He grinned, curling his tail around his paws.
