The morning rose just as the life of the Pride Lands did to the morning light. The grass burned in an orange hue as the lions of Pride Rock were awaking form their sleep just as the rest of the animals. The sky was growing clearer of clouds but the winds still drifted around, waving the grass with it's power. This was the typical morning just as the others that have come and pasted.
Usu woke up with a soft yawn, lifting his head in his den. Looking side to side, all around him, his mate was gone. Perhaps she went out for a bit. He simply smiled knowing that she was still around and she was with him. The wolf got to his feet, stretching out his back, shaking his mane, and crept outside into the morning air. He took a deep breath as the wind curled around him. A smirk.
"Morning, Acacia. I see you have decided to talk with me again."
He replied, his eyes still shut. It felt so calm then, protected by the hills and the shade of the ol' tree overhead. This was his home, had been for nearly four years now. Everyone he knew knew where he lived, would have felt slightly foolish if not. The wind remained on him, his eyes still closed.
"I know, I should go see her, shouldn't I? After all, she is one of my favorite little pups."
The seer replied opening his eyes again with a soft smile. He glanced back at the tree and headed down to the watering hole and then to find his mate, where else would Ali'ka be?

“Yazid stop that!”
*Ali was padding circles around her male companion; a soft frown played upon her muzzle as she snapped at him, taking a few nips at his closest ear.*
“Give it back to me!”
*She called out again before ramming her head into his side playfully. He had taken her bone away from her from the game that they had hunted last night. Ali’ka had awoken to the sounds of his teeth grinding against the bones rough surface- and he didn’t even ask her if he would have it! She was saving that for her sister!*
“Come on Yazid, give it back!”
“Make me!”
*The yellow male laughed as he felt her push herself against him. So what… he got his kicks by bulling her- was that such a crime? He had been around her for too long! Yazid had to find something that would keep himself busy with while she napped the day away! Quickly the young male pulled himself to his feet and took the bone within his jaws. He smirked at her and with a soft, seductive motion he jumped beside her and darted past her.*
“Yazid! Get back here!”

Usu yawned walking along the path from the watering hole, though it was crowded in the morning, it was still worth the cold liquid. Now with a full tank he wandered down the path. He paused when his shoulder began to pain him. He closed his eyes, waited.
An image, one of exotic colors. Female.
It looked like Taj, and that was who he was going to see to see Ali too. He assumed that her daughter was with her, two for the price of one, right? Usufii opened his eyes and headed in the direction the image in his mind depictured for him. She wasn't far from them now.
As he turned the corner past a dying hill he came face to face with a running male with a bone in his maw. The same dark colors, the icy patterns, that scent.....Zid? Before he could get a clear thought in his mind, the other male was already getting closer.
"H-hey, watch out!"
He shouted as his eyes grew wide. What a wonderful start for a day.

*Before Ali could stop herself she felt her paws give out from under her and her now larger form toppled over Yazid’s as she came crashing down behind him. With a soft grunt she landed right onto him and that sent the male jerking forward.*
“What the!”
*Yazid yelped in pain as the bone popped out of his mouth and flew to the side of them. He couldn’t brace himself fast enough and before he knew it the both of them were laying with golden grasses. Ali was on top of him and his paws were squished under her weight. He let a deep sigh pass hi chest before gazing up at her with a cocked grin.*
“Hey! I wanted our first time to be romantic!”
*He laughed and lowered his head as she moved to n** at him.*
“Hah! Like hell!”
*The female spoke before pushing herself off of him slowly. She stood up and panted softly. She had hit her side on his back paws when she felt so she felt a bit sore now- but she wouldn’t say anything to him; it was her fault after all. Gazing upward Ali’ka recalled another voice before she stumbled down- who was that? Slowly the fully grown female scanned the area and with a joyful laugh padded over to the direction of the voice- it was Usu!*
“Usu! How are you?!”
*She called out as she padded to him, leaving Yazid resting within the grasses behind her.*

Usu shook his head as the two of them toppled over each other, childish, but still cute nevertheless. But this was Ali, not Taj like he saw in his visions. Did his vision lie to him? No, it has never done that, they were always true but still vague. He must've saw Ali thinking it was Taj, they were mother and daughter and they did look a like.
Usu smiled to her, picking up the bone in his paw, looking it over. It was pretty marked down with chew marks.
"Uh, I think belongs to you, Ali."
He said, holding it out to her.
"Well, I have been well, your mother as well. You've been staying here with....him?"
He replied, questioned off the last sentence as his gaze passed her to Zid. Darkness... he whispered to himself. Did Taj know that her daughter was here with him? Something about that wolf made him feel uncomfortable, more so with his mate's daughter nearby.
"What did you mean by, “Hey! I wanted out first time to be romantic!” "
The male asked the other, his hackles raised slightly, unnoticeably. He let out a deep breath and sat down before Ali, there was something that needed some explaining now, and he was gonna get it or he was gonna have to find out the hard way.
His ears perked, his tail raised, his posture strong and tall, and his eyes focused.
"Ali?"
He called in a stern, serious voice.

And the sight she saw wasn't really what she had expected, but then she hadn't really been expecting much.
Sighing, the new adult sat herself down, her bushy tail curling around her awkward frame. Her ears flicked this way and that as she watched her sister jump around and chase this male of hers. She seemed to be having lots of fun. Just like they had had when they were both pups. Looking on, she noticed another figure approaching Ali and her friend. Usu! She felt a smile began to appear on her black muzzle, but it disappeared as he seemed to grow angry at the other male. Did something happen? Why did he not like him?
Too far away to really hear what was being said, Resee simply sat, alert and watching her family and the strange male. If anything were to happen, she'd be quick to jump in and interfere. Nothing would mess with her family.

“Ohh… Usu! It’s not like that… really! He was only joking, right Yazid?”
“No...”
“Yazid!”
*Frowning bitterly at her male friend the female kicked at him before gazing back at her step father. He was so fatherly to her, it was hard some times to think of him as just a step dad.*
“No, I was only joking...”
*The male finally said, winking at Ali as he walked past her. As he settled himself down a soft, coy smile passed his muzzle and without any real care in his tone he spoke.*
“Ali, I can smell your sister… she is close by.”
“Really! Where?”
“…Like hell I know?”
“Usu! Resee is here?”
*She questioned with a wagging tail. Oh how she loved her sister! This day was just too much! First Yazid, then Usu and now her sister!*

Usu smiled, Ali was safe and happy with Yazid. Maybe his suspicions were false ones. First impressions were still fresh in his mind. That was when he first appeared and Usu was able to suppress him. He could not help but smile and wag his own tail.
"Well, know this, Zid, I will be keeping a mind's eye on you."
His brows heightened when the dark wolf mentioned Resee, she was here? Really now, it had been some time since he and her meet together. Actually, he was curious how she looked now. Now there was two of the pups he loved so much, hell, he loved all the pups he grew to know.
Usu closed his eyes slowly, steadied his body, and focused. He could feel the sweeping of Ali's tail brushing against the dirt under her. He could feel the vibrations from one's breathing, his own. THere she was, Resee was not to far. He opened his eyes slowly again and looked up, his visions were more controllable since the last time he and Yazid met, now he could locate others through his focus. Feel the earth and soon to the vision of the future of the location of that target. His head turned in her general direction and sure enough she was there.
"Hello there, Resee. Remember me?"
from the corner of his maw and eye he whispered low enough for only Yazid to hear, "(Behave or you better ready your face for my good-bye again.)" he chuckled inwardly. Surely he remember their last departure

Resee's ears perked slightly as the darker male mentioned to her sister that she was around. It was heard by Usu as well, and she noticed that both him and Ali became excited. Did they really miss her that much? But surely she couldn't have been gone for too long? Just a couple of days while she sorted out her thoughts...
Flicking her tail to the other side of her body, she watched as all the attention seemed to shift to her. It made her a little uncomfortable, but she handled it.
Rising to her paws, she closed the distance between her and the small group of other maned wolves. She figured she couldn't hide from them now, and so thought it best that she join them. After all, she didn't want to seem anti-social or anything.
Casting her gaze over towards Usu, she nodded her head slightly. "Of course I remember you. It hasn't been so long." How could she forget him? He was her father-figure, the one that took the place of the real father she had never known. It was hard to forget someone that you had decided was your father instead of your real father. At least for her it was. Plus, it wasn't like she had a bad memory.
Wagging her tail to make it seem like she wasn't completely unhappy, Res licked Usu's nose then turned and completely tackled her sister. Going straight for the ears, she growled and rumbled with pleasure.
"You are so big!" she exclaimed. "But I'm still better," she teased. Ah, the puppy times were coming back to her.

“What!”
*Ali laughed with a soft growl. As her sister tugged at her ear the now fully frown female pushed herself back upward and sent both her and her sibling crashing forward, so that Ali was now the one pinning Resee down. She gave her a sisterly lick on her forehead and spoke.*
“Haha, in your dreams!”
*She added before she took to her sister’s ear, returning her playfully display of affection.*
“How have you been?”
*Ali stopped herself and asked with a soft pant, forgetting all about the males around them.*
*As Ali started at her sister the dark wolf simply took his leave; this was a family affair, he wouldn’t intrude. With a soft grin he gazed back at Usu and spoke before trotting off.*
“Yeah yeah...”

Usu's ears perked and turned to Yazid. He would leave the sisters to their own game, it was time for male to male. The seer rose to his feet and intercepted Yazid's leave, looking at him with a slight smile.
"Where do you think you are going? Gonna leave your mate here by herself?"
He asked playfully. If Ali liked Zid who was Usu to say no? Yazid was a strong male, that was true. He would have to get over the fact that Yazid's name was "Darkness". Regardless, Ali liked him, Usu could give him a chance.
"Come on, you don't have to leave. Ali would have to go find ya again if ya did."
He smirked a bit, turning his head back to the playful sisters. It had been a while since he had saw them play like that. Ali and Resee seemed so happy. When they were, he was too. He smiled and softened. Watching them grow up was so brief, from cub to now. He remembered when Tajwar first introduced Ali to him, asking him to be the God-father. She was so small then. Now she was a full grown adult, happy as can be and now with a mate it would seem.
"Girls, play nice."

Resee growled at her sister as she suddenly found herself laying under her. That cheater! She always found a way to come out on top. She was very sly... one day she would be outwitted!
Content for now to just be the one being pinned down, she wagged her tail and growled playfully, pawing at her sister's face and nipping at her ears as well. She stopped for a moment, however, as her sister asked her how she had been doing. Res blinked. She knew exactly how she had been doing, but should she tell her sister? She felt Ali should know, but she didn't quite know how to say it.
To avoid some thing in her mind, she lied. "I've been just fine," she said with as much false-cheer as she could manage. "I'm better now that I'm back home, though." That at least was true.
"What about you, sis?" she asked, pawing at her face again and grabbing one of her ears.
She suddenly stopped, though, as Usu called over to them and told them to play nice. As if to mess around with him, she squirmed then jumped up, hoping to knock her sister over and pin her down and perhaps start up a little play-fight.
