I'll keep this short and simple, because the more I add, the less accurate it will become as I add fluff in:
it has been proven that during the day,
you feel most down at the four o' clocks.
EDIT- you concentrate more on the bad things that are happening in your life at this time. if there aren't bad things in your life, then you won't feel as down.
Statistics show that most suicides occur at four in the morning.
Also, this is why the English have tea time at 4:00 in the afternoon.
they eat sweets to cheer themselves up.
sweets do help as an anti-depressant, especially chocolate.
that means of course, the the ten o' clocks are when we are most happy.
it is now around 10:00 as I write this (where I live), if you read this within the hour then post how you feel. Personally, i feel excited for no reason, wide awake even.
also, observe how you feel during any given 4:00, and if you have missed this hour, 10:00 as well, and post your results.

Well, 4 am is coming up in 2 hours and 45 minutes for me, so if I'm awake I'll say, same with ten.
Wait the ten o' clock thing, is that a possible explanation as to why no matter how hard I try, I can't fall back asleep if I wake up at 10 in the morning?

Right now I feel excited, happy, and awake.. ^^ I am excited about my new guild and I am happy that everyone is taking an interest and that we are pretty active for the first night 3nodding and talkative, and I am awake probably because my eyes are glued to the monitor.. but I do feel tired because I got up at 8am and went to bed at 2am and went to work today, x.x

purple_cush todays been a long day but i'm always in a good mood around 4:00! well, when i say people are down at 4:00 I mean they concentrate mainly on the bad things that have happened/ are happening.

Ashitaka Youkai Does that just mean that the number four is depressing? I mean, since it's not 4 in New York or anything... yeah. Egads I'm tired... I had a nice little coherent thought all lined up for this too... redface actually the number four is unlucky in Japan (or China, I forget) because it is pronounced the same way as death. so yes, the number four is depressing.

Does that have anything to do with when you wake up? My sleep schedule is a bit off from most peoples', but I get really depressed at night. Around 10-midnight or so. I'm kind of off in the morning, but I don't believe 4 o' clock has ever been a particularly bad time for me. I guess I'll have to remember to check that though.

Quote: Also, this is why the English have tea time at 4:00 in the afternoon. they eat sweets to make to cheer themselves up. sweets do help as an anti-depressant, especially chocolate. lol! wheres this source from about the 'english'? we dont eat sweets at 4pm eek in alot of parts of england 'tea time' refers to what you call dinner, which is usually around the usual time of around 6 - 7pm, which involves... eating a meal! just like the rest of you! alot of people do drink a cup of tea with their meal as its just basicly an old people drink rolleyes which usually contains 1 teaspoon of sugar. personally i don't eat sweets, chocolate or drink tea very often at all, and a lot of people dont. anyways, i did feel a bit tired while i was watchin 'My Cousin Vinny' at 4am this morning rofl
