Are any of you into cosplaying on Gaia? After finishing the 13th book, I made an account here that I'll eventually be using to cosplay Olaf. It's definitely not ready yet. I want to reread the books and take notes so I can more easily get his character and costumes down.
If any of you would like to help me, by suggesting avatars, or gimmicks for the profile; join me, by choosing another character to cosplay; or tell me that it's already been done, in which I'll add that it hasn't been done in the GD where the official cosplaying trend originated and will continue, I'll be happy to listen.
I think I'll be ready by Halloween.Update: I finished rereading the Bad Beginning this morning so I made his first avatar. Though there is no unibrow item or some way to make stains on clothing, the description was a grey suit with black shoes. So I turned him around. The usename is Al Funcoot and I know the profile is bare. I'm working on it. I like the wine bottle wink

Do you mean just avvy cosplay or actual real life cosplay as well?
As for actual cosplay, I've been meaning to delve into Violet's dress from the movie, as crazy complicated as it is...and I also will be dressing up as a VFD member for when the Snicket tour comes my way. biggrin

Not real life cosplay, but not merely avatar cosplay either. I'll be dressing the avatar like him, obviously, but I'll also be true to the character as I respond to threads in the forums. Look at the cosplay guild for a better explanation if you need one.

Neat idea, good luck with it. I was thinking about doing an Isadora cosplay and replying in couplets, but that might be a tad hard.

Cosplay here on Gaia is insanely fun to do. I recommend it highly. As for your idea, paradoxical, maybe you wouldn't have to use couplets every single time you reply, if that's too hard.
