 Having felt trapped, she had wandered away from her home for a while, hoping to meet with an old friend, or maybe she'd get to meet a new one. She was never one to settle in one place, though now she had a mate, Zimwi, things were different. She had a home to return to, and she felt happy she was free to roam around without feeling held back by a promise.
Her favorite thing about where she was, though, was that it was night time, with her one good friend the full moon. Her mother had named her after that moon, when it was pale and glowing softly, just before an attack by the Firekin... if she thought about it, it was just a random bunch of lions who had wanted to go for a kill. She sighed. But she had a family and a mate now, so she didn't dwell on the past.
She felt happier, now that she thought about it, being by her lonesome. She dove into some tall grass, thinking maybe she could skulk around a bit for fun, since she was bored now. Well, she never did grow up... but then again, Zimwi and her adopted family of cheetahs didn't mind that, so she didn't care, either.

 Kikahawia'Kikavu was wandering again as it was his nature to do so. Suddenly the tan cheetah broke out into a run. The feeling was like a rush of cold air, it sent a lovely chill up his spine that only made him run harder. It wasn't until a figure came into his view that he slowed but didn't halt.
"Hello there!" He called out cheerfully to who ever it was that he was coming upon. As he approached Safura'miezi he realized that it was a lion, since it didn't look like a cheetah or a leopard.
He could also tell that it was just short of being fully grown. "Are you friendly?"

She blinked when a tan cheetah suddenly burst out in front of her at full run, slowing slightly to give her a shout of greeting. Her mouth twitched at his next question, and she decided, well, why not give a "good" answer? "Hello!" she said happily, slinking out of the tall grass as easily as a snake slithered on the ground. She looked the cheetah up and down. Fully grown? Unfair...
"Is that what you ask every time you see a lion or a lioness?" she asked, a wry grin on her face. "Of course I'm friendly. If I weren't, I'd have already tried to attack you." She tilted her head at this cheetah. He had pale green eyes... how pretty! Not that she would say that aloud. "I'm Safura'miezi! Safura for short. You?" She whipped her tail around lazily as she waited for his answer, though she did come out to try and run with him. Darn these cheetahs and their speed! He reminded her of her little brother, Koru.

Kikahawia'Kikavu had halted just inches away from the female. "Nope it is what I ask every time I come upon anyone that could pose a threat, besides some people act friendly to distract you before they attack, but I know, I know, yours friendly I can tell!" His voice was cheerful as he spoke.
"Tis a pleasure to meet you miss Safura," Kikahawia paused before continuing with his name "Kikahawia'Kikavu is my name but you can all me Kika."

Wow, this guy had a loooong name. She could already feel her tongue getting tied up and her mind turning to mush just trying to remember his whole name. "Ah, really? Didn't know that. In my mind, and what experience I've got, they're nice or mean; not the tricky, cunning ones (goodness, I hope I never meet those kind), so..." She grinned sheepishly.
She wasn't one to really find danger, just trouble, but even that was rare for a wandering rogue lioness like her. "Long name! I think I'll stick to your nickname after all," she said, eyes dancing with mirth as she stumbled to pronounce his full name. "Kikaha... Kikahu... Kikwaia... gah!" She chuckled. "Sorry. Kika it is! It's nice to meet you too!"

Kika shrugged at her words. "Neither have I but you can never be too careful can you?" He inquired with a ring of laughter despite the fact that what he said wasn't very funny at all. The cheetah could pretend like it was though. It wouldn't hurt after all. "I suppose that we are both lucky to have not run into any tricky creatures." He told her cheerfully.
"My name is rather long isn't it? I have to wonder sometime what exactly possessed my mother to name me such a ridiculous name." He said with another light laugh. "You don't need to be sorry Miss Safura, you don't have a reason to."
