DAMAGE METERS, BASE STATISTICS
I hope this math helps when you decide to make your characters!
Chance to Hit: Base chance to hit is 83%. Can be increased to up to 100% or decreased down to 67% with certain gear and abilities.
Chance to Crit: An approximate 17% chance to criticially injure a foe. Can be increased to 20% with either ‘Concentration’ or ‘Primal Rage’ but is dependent on abilities. (like for example Concentration only works on Magical attacks) Can be increased to a maximum of 25% when players earn their Rings.
Physical Attack Damage: 2-24 (with Empowered Strength): 4-28 and 5-30 Upgraded
Magic Attack Damage (with Fireball/Iceball, etc): 5-30 and 6-32 Upgraded
Ranged Attack Damage: 2-20 (with Precision Shot): 2-24 and 2-26 Upgraded
As you can see, +damage is added before you crit, making it that much more special if +damage attacks crit.
Chance to use Backstab in battle: 50% (non-upgraded)
Chance to use Backstab twice in battle: 50% (upgraded)
Melee classes are naturally more crit-dependent, but they don’t rely so much on MP as casters.
