Valkyrie Profile has been one of my favorite games since I first bought the first one several years ago. If you don't know what its about then I'll give you a short explanation.

In the first one you play as Lenneth Valkyrie the Chooser of Slain. She takes the souls of humans who have died and trains then for war. It has a bit of mythology.

The second one takes place hundreds of years before the first one. This time the main character(s) is Alicia the princess of Dipan and Silmeria who is Lenneths little sister. Alicia is trying to save her hometown of Dipan but was banned from it. Silmeria was supposed to reincarnate and be reborn as Alicia but the spell went wrong and instead ended up just sharing the body with her.

Ah yes... fun stuff that is, but one of the bosses in chapter six is starting to pisss me off. I mean really... And then there's more. I mean really, Gabriel Celestia was hard enough in Radiata Stories, obviously he's gotten harder since Valkyrie Profile 2 is a harder game in general. D: Well, I'll deal with that when I get to that, for now I'm just angry about the freakish amounts of HP that the bosses have. >.> That and the fact that I'm getting frozen to death and don't feel like training for many hours straight to raise my Einheriar levels. =_= Although I don't seem to have much of a choise... and I'm not happy that I can't use Nibelung Velasti freakish amounts anymore. >.> That was cool while it lasted, but after that... well... I wasn't using my other characters... so they're 20 levels lower than Alicia. Not happy. gonk Plus level 52 seems to be far from adaquate at this point, so that means that... well... training will take longer. >.<


On a side note: Valkyrie Profile realy jacks up Norse mythology. sweatdrop

Edit: And now I'm just a little frustrated that an attack wiped out my entire party in one hit.

Wait... In Game+ mode you retain your items though, right? Because then you just all your eiharijar and get a ton of items to make you superpowered. Actually, that's how Ibeat some of the bosses. xp Anyway, they expect you to get better as you play throughh the game, so amping up the difficulty's not so bad.

Oh and on a random note: I LOVE archers! >.< I use Phyress and Lylia. domokun They're pretty useful against the two nmages in Dipan I actually scilenced one of them with throught aim. xd With Phyress anyway, I like Lylia because she's the only einharijar archer that get both wisp attacks and she has high STR and CON... although all her other stats are low.

I don't believe you get to keep your items because I won it and played it again and didn't have anything. Unless I did something wrong.

My favorites are mainly the heavy swordsman. Arngrim, Roland and Falx are usually the ones I use the most. My party is usually Arngrim, Roland, Rufus and Lezard though. It is always good to balance it with a swordsman an archer and a mage.

And where is she stuck on? I might be able to help if you haven't got it by now.

Some of those battles can be hard. I can think of two right aways that I really hated. I don't know if I just wasn't equiped right or what but some of them were really hard. I am kind of like that too, I'd rather figure it out myself most of the time. xd
