It was one of those beautiful days between spring and summer where the weather was warm without being too muggy, and most of the spring flowers were beginning to go by, even as the summer flowers were beginning to bloom.
Adrian Karlet stretched his arms over his head before settling down on the blanket he'd spread out on the grass. He had found a nice spot to have a picnic: a hill with a couple of tall trees and shrubs so that there was some shade, but there was also a place for creatures to stretch out in the sunlight. The hill itself over looked one of the many lakes in the area, and one could see mountains looming in the distance.
A few white clouds floated along in the sky as he reached for his two baskets. His chimaera, Cyrus, was already out and relaxing in the sun. Opening the first basket, Adrian called out, "Okay, everybody out!" A winged egg, a tsubasa named Haruki, flew out first and hovered in the sun light, soaking up its rays. Adrian reached in to help his infant skull monkey, Schye, out of the basket and set him on a shady part of the blanket. Finally, Adrian pulled out a velvet plush shark, Mackenzie, and placed her in the sunlight beside Cyrus.
The second basket contained food and such. Since he, Schye, and Cyrus were the only beings who could really eat anything, Adrian hadn't bothered backing a large lunch. He unloaded it, placing sandwhiches, extra bread, chips, and a large bowl of fruit on the blanket. He sat back and decided that everything was in order. "Sooo... who wants what?" he asked.

-Sparrow trudged up the hill side, grumbling slightly because Lundy insisted she'd pull him there in his new red wagon. Spotting someone else on the hill, she waved with a smile on her face. After a few moments, she found a semi-shadded patch of grass and she spread out her blanket there. Keeping a watchful eye on Lundy, she was curious if Rome and Monkey would come or not.-
-Lundy was bouncing around in his new wagon, he couldn't wait to show Rome. Not very patient, she somewhat paced back and forth in his wagon, every now and then pawing at Sparrow to go somewhere else.- "Rome! Rome?"

Monkey came into sight trudging along the hillside with Rome yipping about in his arms. As they came to where Rome could see Lundy he started trying to get free of Monkey's arms and charge over, but Monkey had to hold onto him so he didn't end up falling.
"Lun! Lun! Lun!" He kept repeating happily, either trying to get Lundy's attention or trying to direct Monkey where to go. Monkey shook his head lightly, with the smile that 9/10 was on his face and set him in the wagon so he could get to Lundy.
"Hey sparrow, how's it going?" Monkey asked with a hug. After greeting Sparrow he looked over and saw Adrian and Schye along with all the other creatures. Being careful where he stepped Monkey went over and held out his hand.
"How's it goin' man? Not sure if we've been properly introduced... I'm Monkey and that over there is Rome."

-Lundy romped around in his red wagon, proudly showing it to Rome. After a few moments of pawing at Rome and clinging to him, Lundy decided to imatate Sparrow, making various noises he had heard.- "Y-Arrr! Avassst!"
-Sparrow looked over at the two monklets and laughed. Looking up at Monkey, she nodded and poked at his side before answering him.- "Oh, its going fine, I took Lundy out to the Lady Washington earlier...he's been imating me and the rest of the crew all day." -Watching as Monkey left, she arched a brow as to where he was headed.-

Rome clung onto Lundy, loving his new red wagon. When Lundy started making the noises he had heard Rome started giggling, listening to them. But when he made the "ssss" sound Rome ran to the opposite side of the wagon and curled himself up in a corner using his tail for protection and started looking around. Thinking that there was a snake near by.

-Lundy blinked, curious as to what Rome was doing. Stopping the 'sss' noise, Lundy curlled up with Rome, making sure to puff out his chest and stand tall, as to scare whatever Rome was scared of, away.-

When Lundy came closer Rome grabbed onto his tale and held it close, shaking lightly. Shortly Lundy puffed out his chest Rome felt better and figured it was gone. So he poked his head up and looked around a little then prodded Lundy's puffed out chest.

-Lundy, now having his chest prodded, coughed and let out the puffed-ness. Looking over at Rome, he romped around and tugged at Rome's tail, wanting to play. After a few moments of picking at Rome, Lundy settled down a wee bit.-

Rome was waiting f right moment. o when Lundy seemed to settle down he struck out and tackled Rome, growling like a tiger. Greatest thing about having a short attention span.
"Sparrow, come over here." Monkey said with a smirk, motioning for her to come over as well, knowing how shy she is.

-Lundy yelped out, surprissed by Rome's sudden lunge on him. Rolling around i nthe wagon, he pawed at Rome before nuzzling up to him, yawning, he slowly drifted to sleep.-
-Sparrow looked over at Monkey. Hesitating, she slowly got up and scurried over to where he was. Scratching at her arm, she smiled at the other man.- "Hullo there..."

Noticing how tired Lundy was Rome was quickly aware of how much sleep he wanted. "Lun" He whispered as he nuzzled back into Lundy and drived off to sleep with him.

Adrian waved to the first person he saw coming up the hill, the one with the red wagon, and stood up to shake the hand of the second person, saying, "Hi, I'm Adrian Karlet. It's nice to meet you." A tug at his pant leg led him to introducing the first of his family, then pointing to each of them in turn, "Behind me is Schye, whom you may have seen. The shark is Mackenzie, the butterfly boy is Haruki, and the brooding chimaera is Cyrus."
Cyrus looked up and stuck his tongue out at Adrian before resting his head on his paws again. Haruki fluttered around the new person, getting a feel of his aura. Mackenzie lay where she was, showing no signs of being sentient, and Schye continued clinging to Adrian's pant leg, blinking up at Monkey shyly.
"Hello," Adrian addressed the woman who had arrived with the wagon, holding his hand out to her. "I'm Adrian, and... well, to sum up the introductions, that's Cyrus, that's Haruki, that's Mackenzie, and this is Schye." With one swift movement, he managed to scoop up the blue and white skull monkey and bring him to his chest. Schye squeaked in alarm, wriggling in Adrian's hands before hiding his face in the man's shirt.
With a light chuckle, Adrian said, "You'll have to excuse him. He's very, very shy... How are you both on this fine day?"

Monkey laughed a little as the winged thing he was introduced to as Haruki flutered around his head.
"I'm doin' alright. As soon as Rome wakes up I'm sure he'll be happy to meet and play with Schye.. It only takes him a couple seconds to warm up to someone and then... Well as you can see with Lundy, all boundaries are gone. How're you doin' today?"

Haruki bobbled a bit in the air before flying up and around Adrian's head, balancing himself atop his guardian's purple hair. "It'd be nice to have Schye get to know some of the other monkies," Adrian commented, petting the monklet in question. "I'm doing alright, just thought I'd bring my babes out for a picnic. I guess we weren't the only ones with the idea," he chuckled.

-Sparrow shook the Adrian's hand and smilled slightly, then smilled at all his little pets. Seeing the little winged one fly around Monkey, made her think of Vivicia. Glancing around. she spotted the little cloud elf perching on a tree branch.- "Pleasure to meet yo. I'm doing alright, and yourself?"
