Individual Training I'm going to allow training to be going on while taking part in the village's activities. (Your character can be 2 places at once, but only in this thread and one other). Since most of the roleplay is spent in missions and class, its hard to learn new techniques with so much stuff going on in the village and how some days move at a fast pace while others move slow. In this new thread, you'll have to have a trainer who'll teach you the new jutsu. If there's a not a trainer who has the jutsu you want to learn, PM the Kusakage (Karite The Reaper) and he will give you a training schedule to go by to learn this new jutsu.
Higher ranking ninjas: Konpaku (Karite the Reaper)
Please PM the teacher asking them nicely to train you. Remember to state what jutsu you wish to learn.
Once you've completed a jutsu you'll recieve experience depending on the rank.
D-rank: +20 Experience C-rank: +35 Experience B-rank: +50 Experience A-rank: +85 Experience S-rank: +160 Experience
Some training costs HP. To replenish your health, your character must leave the training area for one real time day. After one day, they may re-enter and continue training. If you do not post that your character has left and you didn't post for a day that will not be counted.
Some training costs CP. To replenish your chakra, you character must eat, which can be done in the training area or rest. (1 rest post = +1Cp)
Jutsu training only. This is another reminder if you didn't read the announcement.

Jutsus: How to Learn
Hirate Ooyake: Open Palm Technique (Taijutsu) Open Palm Technique - This style of fighting is originally a chinese style where the user manipulates their opponent's strength against them. They take the momentum of a blow and add it upon their own to strike back with half of their opponent's strength plus their own. You do not dodge with this technique. Your attack has to be higher than your opponents. Requirements: Kusagakure ONLY [Must be taught by Kusakage Tenmoki] Training Days: 7 Attack Formula: Beginner: [1d20 + (10Op;ponent's Total) + Taijutsu + WisMod] Intermediate: [1d20 + (30Op;ponent's Total) + Taijutsu + WisMod] Sub-Master: [1d20 + (50Op;ponent's Total) + Taijutsu + WisMod] Master: Lvl 80^ [1d20 + (90Op;ponent's Total) + WisMod] Damage: 1 - 2 +Taijutsu + Op;ponent's Str + Wisdom Modifier This technique is created for people who have low strength. You can't use it unless the attacker is throwing a punch for you to steal strength from. If it is the first time your opponent has seen this technique then you +Base Attack Bonus onto your attack, but you can only +BAB once for that reason. Part I First part of the training is knowing where the opponent is going to strike and how they'll use their weight to move. Tenmoki-sama has created a Water clone for you to practice against. The clones will strike at you 5 times in a row. Observe their movements and how their muscles will move. In order for you get ahold of your opponent's strength you must understand where it is coming from. Control the clone like an NPC. [Roll 2 dice. DC: 10 + Lvl First: Dodge + 1d20 (If you fail a Dodge, take -1Hp away) DC: 15 + Lvl Second: SenseMotive(Wis) + 1d20 Train: 5/5 Successful Sense Motives Experience: +1 Points: +1 Sense Motive Part II Very good, everyone. Now that you have successfully understood the reading of an attack the next step is to harness that power from the attack. As the clones attack, do not dodge the punches. With your own strength you must deflect them. This does not mean block them with your fore arms and let the punch dig into your muscles, but use your palms to push the hand down by re-directing their attack. DC: 13 + Lvl Formula: 1d20 + Wis + Tai Train: 5/5 DC Fail: -2 Hp Experience: +1 Points: +1 Taijutsu Part III This last part is the most difficult to understand. You must take that energy and strength from your opponent's punch and add it upon your own energy and strength. Using the flow and direction of the blow, you must make it flow into your own. This requires movement and turns, which may be slow, but are powerful. DC: 20 + Lvl Formula: 1d20 + Wis + Tai + 10% of Opponent's strength(+1) Train: 5/5 DC Fail: -3 Hp Experience: +20 Points: +1 Wisdom Part IV Now that you have great understanding of this technique, I want you to test it in battle. I will create a clone with the same stats as you to fight against. The clone will use the technique against you and you must use them against it.
Dodging Palm Technique (Taijutsu) This technique is used when avoiding an attack. The user uses the momentum from their movement in dodging to add it to their attack. If the dodge fails during the attack, the user takes the blow, but their attack is also successful. Dodge must be higher than attack. Requirements: Must know Open Palm Technique. Training Days: 4 Attack Formula: Beginner: Half of Dodge total + 1d20 + Strength Mod. Advanced: To reach the advanced level, the user must have used this technique 30 times in battle. Dodge Total + 1d20 + Strength Mod. Damage: Successful Dodge = 1 - 6 + 50% Str - 50 % target's dodge. Unsuccessful Dodge = -1/4 Str and -10% target's dodge Training Part I Kusakage-sama has thrown a shuriken up in a tree. Its branches and shadows make the black metal hard to see. You have to keep your eyes on that shuriken while moving and turning. Practice spinning in place and keeping your eyes on the shuriken. DC: 10 + Lvl Formula: 1d20 + Spot Train: 5/5 [Must get DC10 in a row or start training over.] DC Fail: Start over Experience: +1 Points: +1 Spot Training Part II Five water clones appear in front of you. You must get past each one while keeping your eyes focused on that same shuriken in the tree. If you fail in dodging a clone's attack or fail in spotting the shuriken, you mus start your training over. DC1: 10 + Lvl Formula: 1d20 + Spot DC2: 15 + Lvl Formula: 1d20 + Dodge Train: 5/5 for both (So, you need a total of 10 successful rolls in a row to complete) DC FAIL: Spot Fail(No pentalty) Dodge Fail (-10% Health) Experience: +1 Points: +1 Wisdom Training Part III Four water clones return to pools on the ground and now only one remains. This is the clone that will fight against you and help you learn to keep moving. It will be tough to avoid the blow, but even tougher to land a blow. The point of this exercise is to make your hit land faster and faster. DC1: 22 + Lvl Formula: 1d20 + Dodge DC2: 30 + Lvl Formula: 1d20 + 1/2Dodge + Strength Mod DC Fail: Fail a dodge and recieve -10% health. No penalty for missing the hit. Train: 5/5 Experience: +1 Points: +1 Dexterity
Magen: Narakumi no Jutsu (Demonic Illusion: Hell Viewing Technique) (Genjutsu) Narakumi no Jutsu is a Genjutsu that causes its target to see a horrifying vision. The user will use the rat hand seal that causes an imaginary circle of leaves to spin and envelop the target and then fall away. Once cast, the world will appear normal to the target until they have already seen the illusion. Cp cost: 10 Requeriments: Genjutsu 10 Ranks Training days: 5 days. Will Save: 10 + character level + charisma mod Training I The best way to figure out a technique is to experience it yourself. The kage will repeatidly use Narakumi no jutsu on you until you break through it enough to understand what it truly does to you. DC: 25 + Lvl Formula: 1d20 + (10 + character Level + Charisma Mod) Train: 5/5 Rewards: +1 Charisma Training II You must learn to fully control the five senses when performing this jutsu. First, must you figure out ways to trick the eye. (Sight) DC: 30 1d20 + Genjutsu(Int) Train: 5/5 Reward: +1 Genjutsu Second, make them hear voices. (Hear) DC: 30 1d20 + Genjutsu(Int) Train: 6/6 Reward: +1 Experience Third, dreadful scents that would come into play with the picture. (Smell) DC: 30 1d20 + Genjutsu(Int) Cp Cost: -1 per successful and -5 per failed DC Train: 7/7 Reward: +1 Experience Fourth, make them feel like their mouth has gone dry with a bland taste. (Taste) DC: 30 1d20 + Genjutsu(Int) Train: 8/8 Reward: +1 Genjutsu Fifth and last, they must feel the pain of what is being done to them. Make them feel the stabbing of a kunai or the burning of flames. DC: 35 1d20 + Genjutsu (Int) Train: 5/5 Reward: +1 Genjutsu
Mizu Bunshin no jutsu: Water Clone Technique (Ninjutsu) Creates one or more identical copies of the user out of water. More similar to Kage Bunshin no Jutsu (Art of the Shadow Doppelganger) than to a normal Bunshin no Jutsu (Doppelganger Technique), these clones are capable of attacking, except for the fact that each clone's power is only one-tenth of the user. Also, the clones can only be controlled within a certain radius of the user. That is the technique's weakness. This is considered to be the Water Style equivalent to the Leaf Village's "Kage Bushin No Jutsu" (Shadow Doppelganger Technique) mainly because it divides up the user's attention and chakra to an extent. Cp cost: 4 per bushin. Damage: Bushin deal 1/3 of your normal damage. Requeriments: Water Affinity. Training days: 3 days. Part I Forming water into bodies: DC: 10 (+5 per character Level) Formula: 1d20 + Chakra Control Cp Cost: -1cp per successful DC and -2cp per failed DC Train: 5/5 Reward: +1 Chakra Control and +1Experience Part II Using Henge to make bodies of water look like you. DC: 12 (+5 per character level) Formula: 1d20 + Genjutsu Cp Cost: -1 Successful and -2 Failed Train: 5/5 Reward: +1 Genjutsu and +1 experience. Part III Moving your bunshin around and making it attack. DC: 15 (+5 per character level) Formula: 1d20 + chakra control Cp Cost: N/A Train: 5/5 Reward: Mizu bunshin no jutsu, C-rank jutusu experience and +1 Ninjutsu
Hidden Grass Technique: Kusagakure no jutsu (Ninjutsu) The user shoves his fingers into the ground to where he can feel grass roots. He then allows the roots to fee of his chakra to make the grass grow tall and uncontrolably. Once the grass has reached it's peak, the user knows where his target his and can easily hide or move silently within the grass blades. Good sneak attack or escape technique. Cp Cost: -1 per 10 square feet + -1 per foot grown Damage: N/A Requirements: Kusagakure only. Training: 7 days or 5 days with earth affinity. Part I You need to control your chakra into your hands and make it passive. The chakra needs to be calm and giving. With Earth Affinity DC: 16 1d20 + Chakra Mod Train: 4/4 Without Earth Affinity DC: 21 1d20 + Chakra Mod Train: 5/5 Part III Making the grass grow. With Earth Affinity. DC: 16 1d20 + Ninjutsu Train: 4/4 Without Earth Affinity. DC: 17 1d20 + Ninjutsu Train: 5/5 Rewards: +1 Ninjutsu
Sensatsu Suisho (A Thousand Flying Water Needles of Death)(Ninjutsu) This jutsu freezes water into the shape of sharp needles, which then home in on the opponent from all directions. Shunshin no Jutsu(Body Flicker Technique) A high-speed movement technique. It is described as 'appearing with the wind and disappearing like the wind.' A very basic jutsu, it appears that most shinobi above genin-rank know it. Using chakra to activate the body, the user is able to move from one point to another with extreme speeds. This super-fast movement is almost impossible to see with the naked eye. To a normal person, it would seem as if the user has teleported. The amount of Chakra used depends on the distance and elevation between the user and the destination. Cp cost: 1 for every 5 feet moved Damage: N/A Requirements: Dexterity 20+ Training days: 2 days Part I The user will focus chakra to the feet and move a distance using the least amount of steps. The Kusakage stood waiting at the training grounds. She had two students interested in learning the Open Palm technique and today would be their first day. Of course, she was the first one there, Yuki was always that way. Chishiki Drakyn and Itou Myobi were the two students. Looking over their ninja profiles, it seemed that this jutsu would be perfect for them. Bringing her hand to her chin, Tenmoki wrenched her head to turn as the vertibres in her neck cracked. "Aw..." she said, the headache that had been bothering her this morning clear and gone. That was one of her positive marks to being a medical ninja. She knew the body so well that she could keep her own in good shape.

Myobi walked into the training grounds, still sweaty from class. She had already been home and eaten, but the noise there was too great for her to get much done. She had decided to get some more training in before going to bed. She scanned the area, unsure of where to go now.

"Aw! My first victim!" Tenmoki said with a chuckle as she approached the little girl. "You were interested in learning the Open Palm Technique, yes?" the Kusakage asked the wandering girl. Myobi was her ideal student. She was built almost exactly like her son, who had learned the technique quite fast. Hopefully, she would be as promising as him.

Myobi's intelligent eyes took in the Kusakage as the woman approached her. Her voice was quiet -- almost to the point of not being heard -- when she spoke. "Yes, sensei. I fear that I am not very strong, and my taijutsu is suffering because of it. I require a technique that will allow me an opportunity to balance the scales." This was quite possibly the longest speech she'd ever had with a person outside of her family. When she had finished talking, she stood quietly, waiting for the woman to speak again.

Shinichi ran to the training site, various possibilities going through his mind. It was true, he had seen the technique once and understood the idea, but it was still a long way from actually using the technique. What was the Open Palm Jutsu like again? You dodged your attacker's strike and... used their strength against them? That sounded about right. He climbed up on somebody's roof and looked for the sight. There it was, in the near distance. Shinichi walked the last stretch until he arrived, shyly looking around.

Tenmoki laughed fully almost like a jolly fat old man. The two students were shy as can be. Youth was such a great thing. It was a nice change to have quiet children around instead of Aya and the obnoxious Izuki. "You'll do great at this technique, Myobi," she told the girl, hoping to rid her mind of any worries. "I know you've seen this technique once before Shinichi, but I'm going to explain it one more time. I'd like to get started right away, if you two didn't mind?" she asked politely before proceeding any further.

Myobi studied the woman. She rather liked her. This wasn't completely odd. Most of the people she liked were adults. She nodded her understanding and acceptance. If the Kusakage had faith in her abilities -- limited though they were -- then she would surely do well enough. At the very least, she would be able to hold her own in the next taijutsu battle in class.

Drakyn walked calmly into the area. With steady eyes he quickly scanned the surroundings. He hoped he would be able to learn this new technique, after all, he was terribly lacking in physical strength of his own. He usually tended to let other people make the first move, including in conversation. He simply stood where the Kage would be sure to see him, his steady gaze looking upon the Kage, wondering how the training would go.

He nodded politely and bowed a greeting. The kid search around and found a patch of grass to sit down upon. Shinichi went over the details of the Kusakage, in case there was something that might have changed. No, that looked like her usual majestic self. He calmed himself and got ready to study the technique.

"Aw, Drakyn, you have perfect timing," The kusakage said with a smile. As her students all arrived and got situated, the kusakage cleared her throat. "The Open Palm Technique - This style of fighting is originally a chinese style where the user manipulates their opponent's strength against them. They take the momentum of a blow and add it upon their own to strike back with a great amount of the opponent's own strength. I learned it overseas and I've perfected it to my own technique," the Tenmoki said, bragging just a little, but she quickly changed the subject to the children.
"You have to be very wise to understand the concept of this art. Knowledge of taijutsu and wisdom are required. Any questions off the bat?" she asked the three. "If not, we're going to practice our first exercise," with ending that sentence, the Kusakage performed the seals for her water cone technique and created three clones, which all walked in front of each student. "On your feet," the clone that stood in front of Shinichi said.

Myobi's face remained emotionless as she faced the water clone. She was a little dubious as to whether she would be able to land a blow on the clone. Even at one-third strength, the difficulty of her task would be enormous compared to her own strength. Still. The philosophy behind the technique seemed logical enough.

Pacing up and down the row of her three clones, Tenmoki smiled as she watched each kid's reaction. "First part of the training is knowing where the opponent is going to strike and how they'll use their weight to move," she told them making the clones sway back and forth. "Don't worry about getting injured, I've lowered their strength to match your own. I don't want to send anyone to the hospital on the first day, loves," she told them. "The clones will strike at you 5 times in a row. Observe their movements and how the muscles will move. In order for you get ahold of your opponent's strength you must understand where it is coming from," as she finished her sentence. The clones stopped moving. "Begin!" she yelled, but not too loudly.

He rose quickly, never taking his forest green eyes off the water clones. They looked like regular clones, maybe a bit more durable. Shinichi wasn't much of a taijutsu user, although he did know some. It might be more difficult than he thought and it was lucky they were only clones and not real people.
