What boss battles were the most awesome in your opinion? I'm talking the sort of boss battle that made your heart beat out of your chest.
For me, those were...
- The fights against Nelo Angelo in Devil Mary Cry 1.
- The fights against Vergil in Devil May Cry 3.
- Joachim Armster on Crazy difficulty in Castlevania: Lament of Innocence.
- The double Doppelganger battle, again on Crazy difficulty in Castlevania: LoI.
- Lumine in Megaman X8 on the Hard difficulty.
- The Xemnas battle in its entirety in Kingdom Hearts II.

My favorite battles are:
The fight against Jecht in FFX.
The last fight against Yggdrasil in Tales of Symphonia
The last battle in Star Ocean: Til the end of time
I have other favorites, but I cant think of the names right now...I'll come back when I remember.... xd

also Celio's death was sooo awsome

-The last boss battle in Xenosaga 3 and the battle With Kevin.

- The fights against Nelo Angelo in Devil Mary Cry 1. Such lovely music^^
- Fighting Penance in FFX. It's like: "Holy crap!" eek
- Last battle in Beyond Good and Evil. "Consentrate, CONSENTRATE!!!" *wrong move, gets wacked* "Doh!" stressed
- Fighting the huge big spider like Dark Maker robot in Jak 3 by racing inbetween it's feet without getting crushed and in the same time try not to fall of a cliff or into the ocean. That boss makes me always go all: "Wooooow" blaugh

The Maiden Masher Uh. Every fight in Shadow of the Colossus. XD *raises a cup of beer* here frickin' here! i also enjoyed: -the fight against harlet in digital devil saga. it may be the first boss, but ti's that time where you still have that new feeling of bein' a demon. -the xemnas battle -sephiroth from KH 1 -thorn in kameo umbra in oblivion many, many others!

Although it wasn't that big of a deal, the last scene in Shenmue was a pretty big pump-up. Mostly because fight scenes are far and few in between for most of the game, until suddenly you find your self facing a thousand ******** minions looking to stab you.
The appearance of Shin Akuma in CVS2 always was a pump up, because he was so ******** hard to beat in the arcade. Everyone else up 'till that point is a chump, and suddenly you find yourself on your last character...
The end boss from Halflife 1 was pretty fun.
But truth be told, I haven't played too many boss fights. Most of the time, I end up putting a game down and buying a new one. I think that more than half of the games I own have never been beaten.

Michizane - Otogi: Myth of Demons
I love bosses who will relenteslly beat your a** and look cool doing it, and this guy is one of them. Although, he was easy as cake when you got a certain weapon that kills *anything* in one hit. :/
The Nine-Tailed Fox - Otogi 2: Immortal Warriors
So powerful... so majestic...
Demon Hayabusa - Ninja Gaiden Black
Known in-game as Fiend Ryu... which I think is a sorry name. Once you get past the first fight, which is the hardest, he's pretty fun... even if he cheats.
Cerberus - Devil May Cry 3
You know... it could be that I like his theme song as opposed to actually fighting him... razz
Vergil - Devil May Cry 3
The only think I hate about fighting him is the last fight. While I've yet to actually lose, I lose so much health... gonk
Mr. Gold and Mr. Silver - God Hand
Blatantly stated, you have to fight two fags. Hilarious.
Hey! They'll kick your a** something terrible; I should know.
The Mysterious Masked Man - God Hand
A ******** gorilla in a luchador outfit... yes, you read that right. Too much fun.
Tiger Joe - God Hand
Fighting this guy is great... even if has better moves than you. Y'all be dodging each others blows all day. xd
Azel (Devil Hand) - God Hand
Everything you can do, he can do too. A lot of times you'll find yourself in a bit of a DBZ-style stand-off trading either punches or kicks. Awesome on toast.
Gill - Street Fighter 3 series
I just love his design... nuff said. whee

viewtiful joe: the fight against alastor, fake joe and the final battle against king blue.
okami: the fight against orochi and ninetails. ninetails especially looked REALLY intimidating.
devil may cry: the last 3 boss battles against mundus, and the battles with griffin. as well as the first fight with nelo angelo.
chrono trigger: magus. nuff said.

Probably...
FFVII: Final battle with Sephiroth and I mean the final, final one right near the end.
FF2: I hate the emperor in Pandemonium
Xenosaga Episode One: One of the tougher boss battles with Albedo.
Kingdom Hearts 2: Amazing last boss battle that took my brother and me quite a few tries to get it beat, especially the lasers bit.

I say the best boss battle was every single fight against Seymour in FFX
He pissed me off so many times by coming back... I really wish there was a 5th time. I'd beat him again!!! twisted
