I post whenever I see fit to respond to something, and occasionally I say something random/fun in the 'randomness' thread(s). Mostly I lurk though, because lurking is fun domokun

I also have a bad habit of neglecting the internet for several days at a time because I am doing other things>>

I post about 1/3 as much as I lurk for the most part. As far as I see it I need to meet two of three criteria before I post (just forum ettiquette I've picked up from various places).

1. I can add something new to the conversation/provide information/etc.
2. I can form the jumbled thoughts in my head into a coherent string of words. (I seem to have a lot less trouble with this one at night)
3. I've got something I feel like saying.

Now, when I'm on Gaia, I generally throw out the first criteria, because this place is pretty much just a big spam war. So the only one I really bother with is the third criteria. Now that I've got my old avatar back, I don't even worry about getting gold. Any that I do accumulate I dump into the guild account, just because I know I wouldn't use it anyways.

Wow..that was rude.

In a nicer way:

Most guilds don't have many people who talk, unless a huge guid. Or unless people in the guild are very active.
In this guild, it will probally get more active torwards the time of the convention, and fade again. (Sort of how the forums do every year for most conventions.)

And do I know you, since my name is partially in your name?
