True as it be told, HnG is being released in English, the episodes being dubbed as we speak. As for the voices, I have updated my list just for you people, and sofare only a limited amount of characters have their voices confirmed. As for the rest, they have yet to be chosen, but rumours are flying around forums that Richard Cox is doing Waya.

Yeah, I'm scared.

REVIEW

First off, the first voice you hear is Martin Mystery Hikaru Shindou, voices be Sam Vincent. And as you can see from the previos crossout, he came out sounding like Martin Mystery, as did Akari sounds like Lacus Clyne from Gundam Seed.

Next voice you hear his Sai - HE SOUNDS LIKE QUATRE ON CRACK! gonk

Seriosly, I never knew Brad Swaile could fail at playing him! His voice went up and down as he talked, making him sound like he was on something or had serious vocal problems.

Then, when Hikaru's in class. The first voice you hear is one of the students greeting Hikaru.
THAT WAS VOICED BY RICHARD COX! eek

He just *HAD* to soil over the dub, didn't he?! crying

Possibly the worst casting for Akira is Scott Perrie. Not only can he NOT act, but he makes Akira sound like he's 40! I had to pause the dub so I can scream out "NOOOOOOOOO" for five minutes.

Overall - the dub might get better later on (such as Sam making Hikaru sound more like Athrun Zala from Gundam Seed when he's 16), but other than that, what a shitty way to open up the TV series to me.

That's why I will always prefer manga to anime. Don't you guys think so too?

I can't decide wether to be excited or scared.....
All I can say is that they'd better have the OVA option in case the dubed isn't any good.

Ok, all I know is that I first heard that Sam Vincent was doing Hikaru's voice, and I lost all hope for the dub. He sounds WAAAAAAY too OLD! Hikaru is 12!!! stressed Although, I did hear from someone at the con (and it is confirmed on ANN) that Brad Swaile will be Sai, and I honestly think that is a good choice. He has a bit higher voice that I think will fit Sai well. He's probably best known as Quatre from Gundam Wing. http://www.animenewsnetwork.com/encyclopedia/anime.php?id=912 has more info on confirmed voice actors. But Richard Cox as WAYA??? Oh man... I am so sad for this series. And of all companies VIZ. Why VIZ?? I hate VIZ... grrrrrrrrrr.

But yeah, I prefer the manga anyway. But it is always nice if the dub can actually be well done so that people who only end up seeing it that way aren't scared off. sweatdrop I'll stick with subs anyday.

umm.. well.. ^^;; I know that in the japanese version.. almost all the voice acters for the main characters, the young ones anyways.. are all woman.. including Sai.. but, their voice are great. 3nodding whee
