Okay Panth... moonie.... you guys shall now battle! That way we have somebody for Scarlet and Kisa to fight that's there level.
How to roll for HP: Roll 1 100-sided die How to roll for MP (LORAYA ONLY): Roll 2 20-sided die How to roll for Defense: Roll 1 6-sided die. Maximum defense is 5, however.
Then after you guys all roll for that, you will both roll 1 20-sided die to see who goes first.

You never know... In a battle system that I was building and testing, one person rolled a 3 total to hit and the other rolled a2 to dodge (on a d20). Was highly amusing.

And defence. Let's watch this one shall we.
Loraya, as a RPing character, is hard to hit, but usualy doesn't do heaps of damage, except if they don't know she's there. She's also fairly buff, the only exception I've done is when she was caught by supprise by a dragon, which almost killed her.
I almost want Sam to roll for me...
Moonie, I've edited your HP up to 60.

Rolling for initiative, for that is the proper word for what we're now doing. In other words, Moonie, please rolllow so Lor can survive at least one round.

(Hmm we'll see what Sam says about the Defense difference before you two continue. We recently fought a battle, I had 5 and he had 2, and he had a hard time hitting me and I always hit him. He had like 30HP more than I did and I whooped his butt, AND he could heal himself. It was kind of unfare, though he did have a chance to beat me... But a 1 Defense is just not kewl. *Shall speak to him about making 2 the minimum.* Also, maybe we want to take classes into consult. Like Theifs/Ninjas lowest defense is 3, and a Monk/Warrior's HP is always 10HP plus their opponants, unless both are Melee in which case neither can have less than 60HP. I dunno, the classes really only seem to do with skills, nothing more.)

Hmmm I may need to make some changes to Defense. Sooo right now your Defense can be 4, okay Panth?
I might make Defense a fix stat, 4 for everybody... but can still be changed via spells/talents and the like. I think I might do this.... yes, from here on out let's make this change. That cool with everybody? One stat shouldn't be so game-breaking.
Also Panth your MP is 20 not 11. If you get less than 20 MP when you roll your MP is automatically beefed up to 20.
The key with these rolls are to give fights a bit of flavor but not create such a big gap that your opponent (or you) has no chance of winning.
