Hey I'm a bit curious of what kind of guitar I should buy so what do you guys think?

Oh god, this one will end in bloodshead xd

BTW, as this is a very slow moving forum, please refrain from bumping like that. It's unnecesary and just adds spam to the guild wink

James' Edit: Deleted the bump. whee

It depends on what you play. A Fender would be great for blues and classic rock, but wouldn't be so good at metal. Personally, as I am becoming more of a metal player, I am finding myself liking Jackson alot. 3nodding

The one you didn't put up there: Ernie ball. I had a chance to play one the other day and it was hands down the best guitar I've ever played. I want one now sooo bad.

Well it depends entirely on what you play, and how you want to sound, and what feels most comfortable. Basically you should just get out and play as many as you can. I bet there'll be one that you just don't ever want to put down. mrgreen

What do you play? I play funky stuff and the more softer rock, so I'll choose fender. But I still love the feel and sound of a good gibson.

Gibson in the electric, but acoustic I'd say Ovation. Gibsons feel and sound nice. Same thing with Ovations.

I don't know the best, but the worst is definetly FirstAct. xD

I say, if you have enough dough, get a custom shop from either Gibson or ESP.
Gibsons have prety cool stuff to offer.
But ESP is WAY better. You can have any shape you want, and kind of inlays your mind can conjor up, it's unreal.

Just frigin' look at this ESP custom:

But if you're not rich, I'd still say ESP or Gibson.
But if you're on a tight budget, Ibanez all the way.

Dude, you forgot Carvin. I played one of their lower cost guitars, and it beats out most ESP's or Gibsons. They're just contructed so amazingly that the sound is uncomparable. Just go to the Carvin website and look how they build them, you'll see why they're so great.

Yes, but to be fair, I don't know many guitarists that would want something like that. It does look like the kind of guitar only a poser would play (not slating you if you like it.)

yeah i like. But everyone might, yet none would ever think of getting it (even if they did have the money)

it was just an example of what you can get from a customshop ESP.
You can litteraly get ANYTHING you want if you have the money.
