His Story
Silvanio was born to very pious parents in a rural village about five miles to the northeast of Rome. Due to a quirk of nature, he was born with odd, silvery eyes, hence his name.
On Christmas Day, when he was 11, his parents took him to Vatican City, the very soul of the Catholic world. He looked in awe at the magnificent catherdrals, and the grand statues. He was even blessed by the Pope himself. But what truly amazed him were the soldiers there. His parents told him they were the Swiss Guard, the personal guards of the Pope. That day, Silvanio made it his highest goal to join their ranks.
When he was 19, he moved to Switzerland, where he became a citizen shortly thereafter. First thing, he applied to join the army, the first step toward joining the Swiss guard he admired so much. The boot camp was grueling, but he passed easily. After a year of service, he was accepted into training for the Swiss Guard. Just after he turned 22, he received a letter from the Kommandant...

The Kommandant's Letter
Here's the letter he received:
Silvanio Verum,
Your officers have informed me of your noteworthy skill with the saber and halberd, your fine obedience, competency, loyalty, and most of all, piety. It has been my decision to reward such excellent behaviors and celebrate your swearing-in, four months from now, by allowing you leave and giving you funding for a two-week vacation to the Caribbean, should you accept this invitation. You will stop in the United States, in the state of Florida, from which you will be escorted by helicopter to said island. The money for the trip, if you have not already found it, is in the envelope.
Congratulations, Elmar Theodor Mader Kommandant of the Pontifical Swiss Guard
However, the letter was forged and the Kommandant knew nothing of it...

Personality
An almost fanatical Christian, Silvanio has devoted his whole life to two things: His Catholic Faith and the Swiss Guard. In a sense, he is a crusader, or rather, what they wanted to be, what they should have been. He is loyal, generous, and overall a fine soldier. But his most defining trait is his piety. He is Christian, almost fanatically so. . Some of his flaws include his slight addiction to card games, and the occasional drink. The odd drink or so is a habit he had broken just before he entered training, but due to the stress of the island, he may start to go back to his old ways. He is also easily insulted, so he is often quick to judge.

The Swiss Guard Sabin won't be the only person who dresses funnyThe Swiss Guard, the military corps Silvanio was training to enter, is essentially the army of Vatican City. In a similar fashion to clergy, they are sworn to celibacy. One of their most important duties is to protect to Pope, and are sworn to protect his life even if it means sacrificing theirs. The Swiss Guard uniforms are essentially medeival, and for weaponry they use halberds and swords. However, they have training in almost all areas of combat. The Swiss Guard are, as their name implies, drawn exclusively from the cream of Switzerland's army.

Arctic Wolves Arctic Wolves are a subspecies of wolf that is found, obviously, throughout the Northern areas of the world. It is the only type of wolf that is still found throughout it's original range. Arctic Wolves inhabit some of the most inhospitable terrain on earth. They live in areas where it is dark for up to five months a year, and the ground is permanently frozen. In the month of April, the temperature rarely rises above-22 degrees Fahrenheit. Their lifestyles are essentially that of their southern relatives, living packs. They hunt animals such as Caribou and Musk Oxen, and if they catch one they will eat almost every part of it, lettin none go to waste. If the temperature gets too low, however, the wolves may follow their prey in their migration to warmer areas. Most types of wolf are under threat from humans, but because the Arctic Wolves live in such cold places, they rarely encounter humans,

Hey, like, mammal serums (especially dogs and felines) are really, really common amongst questors. I would suggest a backup animal. 3nodding
I skimmed your quest a bit, though, and it seems kinda Gary Stu-ish that Silvanio's never been to school, but the people in his village have taught him several different languages, math, history, and all that good stuff. *shrugs* Just a little strange~.

Okay, i'll work on it a bit. Also, i chose Arctic wolf because i've always liked wolves. My favorite animal. Maybe i can do something to make it more unique. Thanks.
EDIT: There. Fixed it up a bit. Now he's pretty well educated, but in a bit more normal way. Also he learned archaic combat skillage in his training for the Guard. Also, with the serum, maybe if i combine it with a bird like a gyrfalcon, so he has wings and talons. Uniqueness. smile

Thanks for the advice.
With the playing cards, in Italy and Spain, they use a different kind with four emblems: Goblets, Swords, Polo Sticks, and Coins.

Norsefire Thanks for the advice. With the playing cards, in Italy and Spain, they use a different kind with four emblems: Goblets, Swords, Polo Sticks, and Coins. Really? Cool! To post pictures you have to upload the picture online or find a picture that's already online. Then you click the "IMG" button that's positioned above the message window where you write your messages. Then you simply paste the adress to the picture into the pop up window that appears. To get the adress (URL) for a picture you can right click on the picture with your mouse and then click the last button on the list that appears (not sure what the button is called in English) if you've done everything right, it should look something like this;

There we go! I've changed things a bit, and (hopefully) it looks a bit more "professional".
And in case anyone's wondering, yes, you can post again.
