G4 sucked even when it was all about games.
Too biased and only enjoying overhyped mainstream games. X-Play is so ******** biased about the games (Urban Reign a 2? That's ******** bullshit!) and Filter is nothing but fanboy palace (the fact that Shenmue was ranked the 2nd worst game ever created made me ill).

yea that shitty channel has been dead for awhile...it started dying even before the Tech TV merge.
Filter's the fanboy show now.
shows like Cinamatech get little to no show and ever since they revamped the show, I can't even stand it anymore.
I dunno how JD is now but I know it was good even when it merged.
Electric Playground was like so so...
X-play is complete s**t. Adam's crappy humor is either a hit or miss and it's obvious Morgan webb is just eyecandy now. even though they claim she plays games. I dunno how if they're badmouthing everything they review (and isn't mainstream.) Plus it's hard to take someone who hates RPG serious with anything. You don't come on a game review show and blantly repeat that you hate RPGs...knowing damn well you'll be reviewing RPGs. No one takes you serious.
The forums were actually pretty good when G4 first started (most boards were at least. Especially the off topic boards.) but after 2004 came around, it got filled with a bunch of noobs in the Off topic forums and everyone wanted to start rping there (which is cool...but you saw more rp threads there than anything...) Many of us just left...
I really gave up on G4 when shows like Street Fury and Star Trek hit. (well...I dunno why they even bothered putting star trek on. I guess they thought that most gamers are trekkies or something...)
uh yea anyway. this channel went s**t around mid 04. Sad cause it only began as a channel back in late 03. I see more junk shows on G4 than shows that actually deal with games. I'm still surprised they bother covering E3....[/rant]
