Funeral Wind

Before anyone tries to state the obvious: Death of old age is omitted.

Here's another thought I came up with. If you could decided who lived instead of died, and vice versa, who would it/they be? And please, no "It would kill the meaning". This is just to see who'd you prefer to get the axe, and who should have gotten a pheonix down.

Fixed.

Flik at the end of II. And then see a picture of him with Odessa.

For Suikoden, I was perfectly happy with who died. I mean, Gremio came back to life so that was all fine and dandy. I kind of wish Qlon got run over by a boat or something.

And Kiba too. WTF? Kiba's death upset the hell out of me. I loved him and all of his sexiness. His son was sexy too. It was a heroic death and all, but I think someone like... say... That Gordon guy. What an a**.

Also, I think Yun shouldn't have died. Kenji would be a perfectly suitable charatcer for a heroic death.

Troy shouldn't have died either... I mean... that was just sad. And he wasn't even a bad guy. He could've lived too. Agnes should've died or something.

In Tactics, I hated how they killed Heinz too. You can tell the writers weren't trying very hard with that one... It was basically: "Okay, Heinz is annoying so lets just have him run off screen and get killed by some nameless a*****e with an ugly portrait." Corselia should've died, not only because she was annoying as hell, but because it would've made more sense. Letting the Kooluk Empire collapse? What a joke.

(SV Spoilers)Sialeeds should've died more often. I hated that b***h.

I second Kiba. I didn't belive it at first. What was really the point of his death?

I agree with Chikuu on Troy as well, but I see the reason for his death. Still, what a waste of pretty manflesh...

Exactly! I know he had to die sooner or later, but he didn't have any good buttsecks-worthy interaction.

Yes... The Japanese love for Troy/Helmut has slowly eaten away at my mind. This is why I shed a tear everytime I see that boat go down...
No more possible Troy!Buttsecks. And Troy/Flare is kind of hot too...

But now I'm getting off topic.

Barbarossa and Windy. Why?

Because he's ******** Barbarossa!

As for Windy.... well.... she's what Luca Blight was TRYING to be.

Awww... but it was so sweet how they both died... But Barbarossa was pretty cool.

And good job censoring your post, Soma.

I never played Suikoden III, because it's the only one in the series that never came out over here (UK). I don't know why this is, but I hear Luc dies in it. sad

I would therefore like to donate a SACRIFICIAL JIZO to the guy, since he was one of my favourite characters in Suikoden I and II. He was so badass in II and he kicked the hell out of that Sasarai and his damned stupid hat!

And couldn't he have been in Suikoden V at all? I don't know the exact timeline between V and I but it's not too big a gap is it? If so, he shoulda been in it!

I have the true wind rune tattooed on my chest. It really hurt.

III never came out in PAL because of the fact of the text being too hard to have a translatable switch (i.e. choose the language at the beginning a la IV, T and V). However, that never stopped me importing it. Import it, loser. ;P

More to the point, Luc's an utter turd in III and deserved to die. Plus he wanted to rid himself of the wind rune.

And no, he couldn't be in V. He would have been about 3. No 3 year old humans as recruits, please. Also Zerase was definately the better choice for it expanded the storyline.

If you really wish to see Luc that much, just replay I and II ad nausem.

And HAHA. YOU'RE SCARRED FOR LIFE! :3

I think he was five, actually. I'll redo my math onec I get home.

I don't want Luc to make any more appearances until the last game, and then as a ghost or something. His death wouldn't have any meaning, then. confused

Actually, he may even be younger than that.

He appears about mid-way during I which is 3 years long and he's about 9 or so. V's ending is 6 years before I's beginning, so it'd make him 3 at most.

No, I just checked; he's five or six during S5.

Luc:
Born: IS 444

Arshtat Falenas:
Death: IS 449.

Dolph:
Death: IS 450

So, he was five-six during S5, and seventeen during S2, so he was fourteen during S1 and thirty-two in S3.

Gooo Suikosource!

Ack, I thought he was fourteen during GSII. My mistake.

How do I import it? I read that if you have a fliptop PS2 and Swap Magic for the PS2 you can play it but is that true? I've ordered a fliptop PS2 case but I dunno whethere I want to waste £25 on Swap Magic if it's not going to work. What did you do?

Haha how is he a turd? Do you dislike him in general or just in III? And yeahhhh Luc could have been a kickass little midget type guy.

Yeah hehe I'm scarred for life but I like the design so it doesn't bother me. May get a few more runes.
