Aria is a little opal pud, named after a certain type of song in Opera. More about her personality, likes, and dislikes will be added when she hatches. And are subject to change as she grows up.

Dear Journal, This is the first entry. Written just after making the top bit look pretty. I reserved 10 posts, and hopefully that'll be enough. I also made those cute little duckie banners. I love duckies, as you can probably tell from Aria's house. IRL, I collect rubber duckies. So, of course, I had to fill her house with them.
I'm very excited about having a pud. I make sure to huggle her little egg several times a day. I hope she likes the house I have built for her. Perhaps I'll expand it if she needs more room. But I didn't want her to get lost in it while she was still little.
I wonder what type of pud she'll be, and I hope she's a good student. I also hope that she'll make good friends, and be a very happy pud.

Dear Journal, Last night was a lot of fun, and I felt so great afterwards. I tried to get to the "50" pagemark, to win pip's thread contest thing. And talking and chatting on the thread was not only fun, but I felt happy I was working hard for Aria. In the end, I didn't actually win. But the lovely lady who did win, Chieri, gave the prize to me! I was soooo happy. I luff her lots and lots (and I'm sure Aria will, too). The prize was these very pretty lavender nymph wings, which have been placed on Aria's egg. They're soooo pretty. I just adore them! I hope she likes them, too.
Today I also signed Aria up for her classes in the pud school (I even paid for them). I decided on Music and Drama because, afterall, she is named after a song type in Opera. Then I also signed her up for Art, because it's something else I really enjoyed in school. Plus, it'd give her a chance to explore other types of things. And then magic, just because it sounded cool and interesting. Hopefully she'll think the same way.
After all this, I began to wonder if she'd do alright in school. I mean, I don't want her to feel pressured, or overwhelmed. And my worrying made me remember the old wives tale about playing Mozart to babies made them smarter. I know it's not true, but I thought to myself Maybe if i play Operas for her as an egg, she'll grow to have an apprication for them... So I decided to do just that, and to appriopriately start with one of Mozart's. So today, we listened to "The Magic Flute," which is a favorite opera of mine. And goodness, it was wonderful! I hope she liked it as well heart

Dear Journal, This evening, I couldn't sleep. Or perhaps I could, but didn't want to because I knew I didn't have to get up for school tomorrow. xd So I decided to buy a room devoted to Aria's new wings. It's a fun "fairy" themed room, and I even put a cherry tree indoors! It's gunna be great. I also bought a room for Meriah, the pud raised by my good friend Joey. I hope Aria and Meriah will be as good of friends as Joey and I are.
After all that, I flipped through my Opera CDs, and we listened to Mozart's "The Marriage of Figaro." I guess I'm on a Mozart kick or something...

Dear Journal, This morning was nice, because I'm done with school. So after sleeping in, I pulled out the last of my collection of Operas by Mozart. Aria and I listened to "Don Giovanni" and then the 'bonus' track on the cd was an aria from "The Abduction from the Seraglio." I remembered why I hadn't purchased that opera yet, I don't really like it. sweatdrop
And well, that's all for now. If anything more happens, I'll update again. But the likihood of me packing away my senior year into filing cabniets and then cleaning my room is probably better than me doing more with Aria. But I will get on and keep checking to see if the new room is up yet. heart
