The moon started to rise in the clear, night sky. Stars started to twinkle, as the minutes pass, more and more stars shimmer across the sky. The temperatures started to fall steadily, but the cool, northern winds made it seem colder than it actually was. In the forest, the moon cast shadows of many, trees, small animals scurrying up and down the trees, and across the ground. They were starting to collect their winter rations before it became too late in the season. Leaves of red, gold, and brown fell from the trees and danced in the breeze before they fell upon the ground.
Daisy crept through the forest. She was surprised how busy the animals were even though the night has fallen. With each step, she at least stepped on a leaf or two, causing a crunching sound along with the sound of each hoof striking on the ground. She looked up towards the evening sky, and between the tops of the trees, was the stars, twinkling ever so brightly. She then spotted the full moon, glowing to its full extent in the sky.
Then, a stray leaf carried by the wind plopped right in her face, causing her to grimace at the touch of it and quickly backing up to see what it was. ”Ah, it was only a leaf,” she thought to herself and let out a deep sigh. This quick scare made her more aware of her surroundings and the noises of the darkness. Her ears swiveled back and forth, and her eyes widened, paranoid that something will jump out and frighten her.

Shilah looked up at the moon high in the sky. He had been awake all night not able to sleep because of his father. Because of this he decided to go for a moonlight walk through the trees.
Shilah loved this time of the year, so far it was his favorite. He liked the wonderful colors everywhere, he like the way the leaves danced as they fell to the ground and most of all he liked how it was not too hot yet not too cold.
The wind steadily blew through his hair and feathers as the moonlight lightly shone off his silver jewelry. As Shilah walked quietly he listened to all the sounds around him. You could see and heard so much on a beautiful night like this. With it somewhat quietly out you could hear his jewelry jingling softly as he walked.

Hearing unfamiliar sounds that were carried by the breeze, Daisy pricked her ears forward, and then her ears swiveled back and forth to determine where this sound is coming from. Her eyes were alert, but since she was not a nocturnal creature, she thought her hearing would work better in this situation than her sight. All she could see were shadows dancing in the moonlight.
As she listened, she determined that it was...some sort of jingling sound? Bells perhaps? No, the sound was not the jingling of bells. Chains or jewelry? That was probably the more likely outcome. Finally, her nerves were getting the best of her, but what can she do? Run away? No.
"Hello? Is anyone there?" She whimpered out. She then turned around to see if there were anything lurking around behind her rather than in front of her.
((Sorry it took me soooo long to reply. School has kept me rather busy. >.<))
