Aurora had only woken up a short time ago, and yet had already found herself trotting through the forrest. She was following a lesser-traveled path that offered a scenic route through the woods. A nice change from her normal paths and routine, she concluded. Though... the mare wasn't entirely sure where exactly this path lead to, or where she intended to go, but was currently content with the idea of finding out once she got there.

 Shilah sat down in a pile of newly fallen leaves alongside a small trail. He had been up almost all night and though he was not terribly tired yet he decided to rest for a little bit. It was a nice spot and he had no real place to go. He looked around, the breeze blowing though his hair and feathers. He closed his eyes for a short period and was in a half-sleep like state.

Aurora was begining to turn around a corner in the path when she spotted a strange, yellow shape up ahead through the branches of the trees. Realizing the shape she was approaching was another soquili, she quietly slowed her pace to a stop.
She lifted her front hoof to take another step, but hesitated. He appeared to be resting, and she did not wish to disturb him. But part of her was still curious, and she did wish for someone to talk to... Perhaps he might even know where the path lead?
Her raised hoof finally lowering towards the soft earth beneath her, she took a step. Then another step, and another, untill she was a few yards from the place in which the stallion sat. Her blue eyes studied him for a moment, trying to see if he was partly awake, or far enough asleep for her to walk past without waking him.

Shilah sat there for a second with his eyes still closed not even knowing that someone was watching him. When he opened his eyes he was quite suprised to see a mare only a few feet away from him looking at him. Somewhat embarressed he stood up and look at her for a second not sure how long she was there or what to say.
Shilah had never seen a soquili like her before. Her coloring was quite different then any other he had seen. Although he had seen sparkly soquili before he had not seen one with stripes of two colores like that.
Not wanting to be rude and just stand there looking back at her, he decided to would be best to say something. "Hello there." He started then nodded politely like he always did when greeting someone. "My name is Shilah."

Aurora took a step back in surprise when Shilah suddenly opened his eyes. She had not necessarily intended to stare, though she thought it must have seemed that way to him. She felt somewhat embarrassed by the situation (though she tried to hide it), and was a bit relieved when he finally spoke.
"Nice to meet you, Shilah." She replied, returning a polite nod. "My name is Aurora."

"It is very nice to meet you as well." Shilah smiled and nodded politely. "Aurora, that is a very pretty name." Shilah said and nodded his head. Looking at her he though how it make well with the way she looked.
"So, what is it that brings you here miss Aurora?" He said kindly and politely at the same time trying to maybe start up a conversation.

Aurora was a bit surprised by being complemented. "Thanks," She replied softly.
"I was just exploring, following this path..." She answered in response to his inquiry, looking to the path as she spoke. "I don't suppose you would happen to know where it leads?" She looked back towards him, curious.
((Sorry for taking so long to reply. sweatdrop Stuff IRL has been really crazy the past few weeks))
