Wow, I was actually hoping for a true justification.

This is nothing but one-time accident. This does not in whole prove dogs are worthier than cats

Personally, I'm a total dog lover.
I don't really like cats.
Not just because I'm allergic to them.
My friends say that I have some kinda dog radar 'cause I seem to spot every dog that's within view 24/7. xDDD

But I do agree that that's only one of the scenarios.
True, I haven't heard of any situations where the feline saves the day, but it doesn't mean it's not possible.

Right... this is a statement claiming X (X being the variable of what you're claiming)

As a person we initially ask: Who, What, When, Where, How and sometimes Why.

We have the Who and What and When isn't needed nor Where.

Just How and Why as in "Why are dogs better than Cats?" Or "How do you have Proof that dogs are better than cats?"

Reading your first post which I assume folows your topic statement. We assume it's proof or some sort of evidence that this "proves" why dogs are better than cats.

I could be mistaken, if so please clarify.
