So I finally got a new commission.
And its not porn for once.
Its a portrait of someone from a photo.
That’s not my style per say.
But I’m doing it.
Why?
Because I’m an art whore.
A broke one at that.
So I try to explain that I’m not a portrait artist.
I’m an Illustrator.
She pesters me to do it even though I direct her to someone who can do it better.
She still wants me to do the painting, Photorealistic.
I’m a bit worried it’s not going to be what the woman is looking for.
If she decided to stiff me because its not exactly what she was expecting, I’m shoving the canvas down her throat.
Spoon feed?
Stupid clients and people you have to work with.
Unrealistic expectations of realism.
Selling out.

If shes dumb enough to insist YOU do it even though you feel uncomfortable, then she has no right to complain at all if she doesn't like the outcome surprised

The Almighty Bobo I stopped reading at "it's not porn." I never thought I would say "damn, couldn't she just give me another lesbian porno project?" I am so burned out on drawing lesbians.

I''m demanding 30 of it up front for materials and time.
If she doesn't like it she keeps the rest I keep the painting for my portfolio.

I have to be the worst person to ask for a comission.
I have the drawings all done for a few people, but I cant scan them because of the scanner wasn't hooked up to the computer. And now, I just procrastinate hookig it up.

it was delightful.
I decided that it was time for me to stop being borke, so I did something illigal
*gasp*
and Now i sell Mix CD's to high schoolers.
I just ask em what they want on a mix, and BAM!
instant five bucks.
