Well here's my opinion on all the un upgraded rods.
- basic rod___ This is the second best none upgraded rod (in my opinion)
It seems easier to keep the fish between the redlines.
-strength rod___ In my Opinion THE BEST unupgraded rod.. the lines are considerably Wider and you don't have to pull as much.. which makes fighting fish much easier.. the draw back is the distance. less rare fish will be caught withthis rod.
-distance rod___ This Rod... as the name implies has an insane casting distance..Twice that of a strength rod.. eek Which means a better chance of hooking RARE fish xd But you'll have a time trying to get them in!!!!!!!!!!

- performance rod__ despite its name The performance rod is one of the worst rods i've ever used.. the lines are Wide at the top and the bottom but "anorexic" in the Middle... which is wher most people miss their fish..If you can get past the middle then this is the rod for you 3nodding

I use distance rod plus in bassken, and mostly in all other lakes but in the others I sometimes us my strength and performance.... but for me, distance plus is the best

I use a distance rod. I think it is the best and I saw in a fishing guide one day that with a strength rod plus you cannot catch larges!

with the strength + u can catch larges u just catch a lot more with the disatance +

I completely agree with you gangstah, performance rod is probably the worst rod to fish with, itbends tooo much!

And what is this about ANGELIC RODS? eek its supposed to be the best rods out there that will snag a rare with about every throw and it can reach 100 feet max, but its not released to the public though
