~Koiji's Writing School~ Ladies and gentlemen of the Koiji Romansu, say hello to your new very own writing school! Now I know, many of you are thinking "But wait, this is a literate guild! What do we need to improve our writing skills for?" Well, to explain in short, there are some people who come to this guild, and for the most part, they're literate -- even some we'd deem semi-literate. And for these slightly less literate members, we've created a "school" to help them get up to par with the elite role-players, such as Kitty (previously known as Ari) or Setty (Princess_Setphia). But! This place isn't just for them. Any member who thinks they need help with something can come ask to take part, and one of our trained staff (AKA, guild Crew Members who will be dubbed with the title of "Teacher"...Or "Sensei", whichever you prefer) who specializes in the area you seek help with will aid you.
But enough of an introduction, ne? On with the show! >w<;

~Areas of Study~ Now, as we all know, writing can't just be categorized with one word. There are dozens, hundreds, perhaps even thousands of aspects to it. or more. ::Twilight Zone music:: So basically, here's the "Curriculum" that you'll be able to choose a "Course" from. And don't be shy! Everyone should continually improve their writing, so don't be afraid to ask for help. Chances are, you're better than us. @.@;;-Syntactical Structure and Diction- Basically, this is to help your sentence formation, as far as flow and technique go. This category also includes the formulation of ideas, subjects, predicates, and prepositions. If you have trouble with sentence/paragraph coherency, this is what you want.
-Basic Role-Playing- Plainly said, this is quite simply a place for those who think they need a bit of help with role playing. Whether it be lack of creativity, incentive, or anything in that category, ask for this if you think you need help role playing in any way.
-Advanced Role-Playing- Strictly for serious role players who are having complicated issues with their role playing. Some of these issues include writer's block and how to develop longer posts when role playing. If you're confused about which you'd apply for in regards to this and the latter topic, simply inquire.
-Punctuation- A lot of the problems I see, and the ones that 'specially irk me, are ones that deal with punctuation. Things like not putting spaces after periods or commas, misuse of things such as colons, semi-colons, or spastic exclamation/question marks. This is quite a broad category, as is the first. Nevertheless, if you find yourself in need of some help, then please ask, and we'll be glad to help.

~Why am I here? Dx~ There are three reasons you could be here. 1.) You were specifically asked to come here and study something in particular by a Crew Member, Vice Captain, or the Captain herself. 2.) You've come here on your own will, and wish to improve your skills in a certain area, or perhaps multiple areas. 3.) You're a teacher, and are just getting acquainted. o.O 4.) You're bored, or just checking into this, 'cause it's new. xD
Please note, though, that those in the first option have to attend; the other three do not. If you've been elected to attend a certain seminar, then you will be required to do so, lest you want to be warned/banned. But we don't mean this in a cruel way. This is a literate guild, and to be in here should be considered a privilege, so we expect you to be as literate as you possibly can. To be in here, on will or by elect, is not a bad thing at all.

~Teachers~ Of course, in any school, you must have teachers. The teachers for this particular school will be as follows, ranging from Captains, to Vice Captains, to Crew Members. >A normal member cannot be a teacher. If you wish to be instated as a teacher, you must message me, Illicit Romance, or the Captain, Kitty_Katastrophe.<
Your teachers will give you "Assignments", most probably sample role play posts based on a prompt, and you will then complete them in accordance to their specifications. If a teacher asks you to do something, you'd best do it. These will be higher-ups in the guild, and any disrespect towards them will not be tolerated. If ever you have a problem with something writing based, simply ask them, and they'll answer your questions to the best of their abilities, or refer you to another teacher.
Keep in mind, each and every teacher has extensive knowledge in all categories, so more than less likely, a teacher will know quite a bit about each category.
>There can be more than one teacher to a section, so applying teachers, don't worry if there's already someone in there.I, Illicit Romance, will pay any teachers who are willing to teach in accordance to the work they get done with their respective pupils. Salaries can range from zero, to a possible 25k gold a week, depending, again, on what you get done.Teachers:
Sentence Structure - Capricorn Empress
Basic Role-Playing - Pending
Advanced Role-Playing - I Found Hot Chicks
Punctuation - Capricorn Empress

~Applications~ This is plain and simple. There are two applications: one for potential teachers, and one for students who wish to apply.
For a Teacher, please use the following code:
Username: Preferred Name: Position in Question: Guild History: (How long have you been in the Koiji?) Role-Play History: (How long have you been role playing?) Why you want to apply: Role-Play Sample: (Must be created as of the moment you're filling this out. No past posts or works; a decent length, creative, smooth, fresh sample. I want the best of the best of your skills.) If you are a Member and wish to apply as a student, please use the following form:Username: Preferred Name: Area of Study: Guild History: (How long have you been in the Koiji?) Role-Play History: (How long have you been role playing?) Why are you applying?: Role-Play Sample: (I want a recent work of yours that has been in a role play in this guild. If you've not yet been in a role play in this guild, then I'd like a link to the post after it's been added.)

heart If at first you don't succeed... Just a quick Update for you guys:
---If you sign up for a course of your own free will you may continue to participate or join roleplays in the guild.
---If you were told to sign up for a course;
and are in a roleplay, continuing to participate in it (them) is up to you, however, you cannot apply to any others until you are released from the course.
and not in a roleplay, you cannot apply to any roleplays until you are released from the course. Skydiving is not for you... heart
