*nods grimly* There was once a Gaian named Roman Holiday who turned the ED forum upside down for a few months. I think he got banned for trolling, though. I haven't been back to ED for a long time-- haven't been HERE in a long time sweatdrop I miss you guys.

I've never had much success in the ED. No one there is really there to listen to others ideas, they just want to prove themselves right. Although there are some exceptions where there are people who are willing to concede to valid points, but at the same time there are just as many people who will make up things and never concede. I haven't had the chance to really try anything lately, I just don't have the time.
Its good to see you again Lyn.

I think I've just gotten used to flaming by other people. That, and you should never DEBATE Christianity. It makes it seem like you're winning something, and that's not really the point, right? I stopped trying to score points with my religion when I realized no one was listening, no one cared, because in the end you can't PROVE Christ.

I was just surfing the ED and noticed a thread about Christian terrorists. I was amazed and actually laughed. But I know from experience that no one would listen to me if I started to try to debate. So I posted my opinion with no flame to any of the others and got out of there. I do not know what they will say about that, but I don't want to know. I think the strongest influences Christians can have are their testimonies. When you get into a debate about religion, the people could start attacking you about what the Bible says about fights and arguing, and then where would you be? It's happened. But I hope that more Christians will start taking a stand without going through all the debates, because people are very stubborn when it comes to opinions, I find.

Yeeahhh It happens. Those people who don't know God can be very callus (sp) and hard towards those who believe. I even knew someone who wouldn't talk to me anymore because he "has a hard time respecting those who live for others." These people also tend to have a reason for their hard-heartedness toward Christians. Like, say someone doesn't believe in God because his/her mom does, yet this same christian mother beats her kids.
You just have to remember when talking with these people that as Christians, our job is to simply plant a seed, God will water it when the time comes 3nodding
(Oh yeah, and ED-ers are usually very one-sided. They'er very hard to get through to on any subject)

ham[k] (Oh yeah, and ED-ers are usually very one-sided. They'er very hard to get through to on any subject) I was debating with someone last night, both of us were irritated... it took us a while to realize that we were both arguing the same point, but in different fashions lol. One of the things you have to remember though. Some people are not trying to start bashing and such. Especiallly if it is a debate involving christianity. And even more so when they know you are right. (Yet still there are those out there who just want to trod on people) FYI- Christ offends (anybody remember where that is found?)
