I have noticed that there are something i have never noticed in the show, so you can post anything that realates to that or any goofs in the show.
Here are some i have noticed-
If the bending gene was genetic than sokka would also be a waterbender,because katar and him have the same parents so he tecnally should be a waterbender.
- It seems that each Avatar has their animal guide. Roku had his dragon, and Aang has Appa. Yet there are no more dragons seen in the Fire Nation. Could it be that during Aang's century in the iceberg that the dragons were hunted and made extinct?
-in the "southern air temple" episode when he activates his avatar spirit the top of avatar roku's temple glows along with the noth pole and the earth kingdom (the earth kingdom person that was shown when it glowed was the earth lord, one of the water people shown was just watching from afar)

When Aang is in the tent, after the nightmare, he has no shirt or shoes on. Aang puts on his shirt, and then Katara drags him out of the tent before he has his chance to put his shoes on, and then when he is introduced, he has his shoes on.

4. The Warriors of Kyoshi
The name, "Kyoshi" is a male's name and means "purity". The town was named after a female Avatar.

5. The King of Omashu
The Avatar is supposed to learn to be a master of all four elements. So then why does Aang not ask Bumi, "the most powerful Earthbender you'll ever see," to teach him Earthbending?
Aang must learn to bend following the sequence air, water, earth, fire. He cannot learn Earthbending from King Bumi because it would be out of order.
During the battle between Bumi and Aang, for a split second the ring on Bumi's left ring finger turns green.

7. Winter Solstice (1): The Spirit World
Reincarnation is not entirely cut and dry. In the Ramayana Rama, an Avatar of Vishnu or Vishnu born as a mortal, later meets his divine self, essentially being in two places at once. So even the Hindu culture has a semirelaxed view on the body and soul.

8. Winter Solstice (2): Avatar Roku
How could Commander Zhao and the others escape from the temple and get on the ship so quickly? Aang had to go through a set of complicated tunnels and huge stairs which took a quite a while.
When Commander Zhao orders his blockade ships to stop, they immediately come to a dead halt, which is impossible in water.
In the previous episode at the end, it was a crescent moon. In this one, it's a full moon.

Katara tells Jet she can't bend water she can't see. So how did she get that water out of Aang's chest when he almost drowned in "The Warriors of Kyoshi"?

11. The Great Divide
Aang's glider was clearly damaged and couldn't function but in the tenth episode but in the eleventh episode it was used and looked brand new!
The tour guide's arms clearly weren't broken because when Aang was talking about eating their weight in leachy nuts on the small cliff, the guide climbed up. He would've needed his hands.

Well I dont think Katara and Sokka's mother had the waterbending gene because no one else in their trive has it. Maybe its one of those things like I color. My mother has brown eyes and my father has blue eyes. Usually Brown is the dominate gene, but I was born with blue. Well thats rather true, but from Aang's lungs to his mouth is not anymore then 6 inches to a foot apart, that seems to be easier then maybe going about 20 underground. The gene thing: It's basic biology. Just because the parents have the gene doesn't mean ALL the kids have it. It depends on the dominace and genetic recobination, punnet squares, etc.
