Ok, ive had and played this game since it came out, im richer than rich and could probably buy the whole valley if it were possible lol, I am Married to Nami.....
Heres my Questions
Ok, the first time i had my Harvest moon File, i got my kid to the point where hes a Teen-ager...HE looked SOOOO Cool..... then.....sadly my file was deleted, and i got to that point again...and he looks like a total nerd, what am i doing differently, im gunna restart to get the cool kid again
please help HOW DO I GET HIM THAT WAY
My Tactic
Ok i have a great tactic, have four cattle...no sheep, and the horse (obviously) and that way my cows are always milking, but i want to become richer, so what i do is buy Ten ORange Trees... plant them in the bigest plot... then change to seeds plant until your three feilds are full, you can keep seeding them for big bucks until your super-rich...
QUESTION 2
What is that stupid shack between the biggest and middle planting plaots For, it drives me crazy wanting to know!

Every action you take with your kid reflects on him. Things you show them and give them and your answers to him changes how he is.
The shed you are talking about, was originally suppose to be for the horse. But for some strange reason, they decided to keep the horse in the barn instead of it's own stable. So it is just a leftover from programming. It doesn't do anything.
After you give the blue feather and the girl accepts, you will get married on the first day of the Second year. It is an automatic scene. If you do not give a blue feather, the girl with the highest heart content will come to your house on that day to "Propose". If you refuse, the game will end. You must get married to continue the game.

I have heard, for the girl's version at least, that the land where the shack is is used for the chicken coop which is avalible when you get five or more chickens. I don't know though, I've seen a screen shot of the coop...

question 2: you can never unlock it i wanted to know to so i was looking at cheats and it says it never unlocks.

That shed by your chicken coop, where the medium field is, that one is just for looks. It never opens. Like yeah, you could say it was a program error thing, but I think its just for looks to indicate that the farm is old. And the upgrades you can get are the pond for the "grass-cutting" field, the food processing room, which attaches onto the dairy shipping room, the addition to the barn, which i still havent figured out what its for. You are supposed to be able to do something with the milk in there, but whatever. It costs the most money to get and yet it seems useless. It might have usage after the heaven chapter. And then there is the seed maker. getting super rich happens with fishing for me. Just fish the waterfall fish and sell it to van on the 3rd and the 8th of every season.

i always get to the point wher my son is a child not baby and then i get bored and annoyed with the game o and i do the seed maker money scheme but it takes toooooo long so advise unless u hav no life just collect the orangers and sell them biggrin iam always married to celia and on freinds of mineral town iam marying elli from the clinic iam aiming torwards getting magical melody next
