Bird Wing Bar is located in the center of Solaquedar. The bar for everyone, though mainly Highschool students. This bar will serve you whatever you want, even if you're under age. As long as you have the money, you can order a bowl of blood if you want. This bar caters to everyone, so it brings an odd crowd of people. It looks like your average bar, except for the variety of species.
It has dim lighting, a wooden floor, a cherry wood counter, shelves behind the counter that are lined with diiferent bottles and jars with unknown content. The lights hang from the celing, and over the counter and few tables. This bar has little to offer for food, and what it does have is basically what you could find at your average burger joint.
There are 10 tables, though it is never really full. 1 table holds ten people, 2 hold 5, 2 hold 4, 2 hold 2, and 3 hold 1. And there is the counter which holds about 10 itself. It is located about 5 miles east from the school.
Drinks Offered: Demon Snap- Toxic to most mortals, a demon snap is made from 1/2 a mug of dark southeast isle rum, 1/4 a mug of demon's bane herbs for pungency and 1/4 lycanthrope blood for texture.

Kasai meandered through the door to the bar. She had been exploring the small town near the school. The unpleasant feeling she got when at the school made her very uncomfortable and she wanted to stay away as much as possible. She made her way to one of the tables that seated 2 people and sat down, leaning her staff against the back of her chair. Withing a few minutes the waitress came over, a dishrag in her hand.
"How can I help you?" she asked politely. Kasai looked up at her face and smiled.
"Do you have anything to eat? I'm rather hungry..."
"We don't have much. Just some smoked jerky and bread."
"I'll have half a loaf of bread please, and a glass of water."
"Be right back then!" The waitress went into a back room, and promptly returned with a plate of bread and a large glass of water. She set it down on the table and returned to the back room. Kasai pulled a small piece of bread from the loaf and nibbled on it. It was hard, obviously stale. But still, she was famished, so she pulled off another piece and munched on that contentidly.

Ginseku entered through the doors of the bird bar in, looking slightly depressed, his wings sagging slightly. He walked over to the farthest end of the bar, sat down, and buried his face in his arms. after a few moments, he raised his arm, asking for some service. The Waitress promptly rushed over to him, a notepad in hand. "And what'll you be having, sir?"
"Ill have 3 cokes, warm if you can, and no ice, as that would defeat the purpose of warm coke." The waitress nodded, then disappeared under the counter for a few moments. She popped up again after a while, three cokes in hand. She handed them to ginseku. He took one, opened it, and slowly sipped it, keeping his face hidden. He mubled to himself, thinking out loud slightly. " Oh Ryu....where have you run off to?..." He sipped the rest of that soda, then put it on the counter, opening another and sipping that one as well.

Kasai watched the dejected young man walk in and plop down at the bar. He seemed extremely depressed, and she couldn't help but wonder why. Quietly, Kasai got up, loaf of bread in hand, and walked over to the bar. She stood a few inches behind the man and took a bite, chewed it up a bit before swallowing, and leaning forward.
"Is this Ryu the one who's made you so depressed?" She smiled, causing her eyes to squint at the corners slightly.

Ginseku took her hand, and shook it lightly. "Ginseku Shirokiba..." He smiled slightly. He finished his other coke, then grabbed his third, sticking it in his pocket. He pulled out a large gold coin, and placed it on the counter. The Waitress bowed. 'Thank you for your generous tip sir.' "No problem." He smiled at her slightly. The Waitress took the coin, putting it in the register.

"That reminds me!" Kasai reached into her kimono sleeve, pulled out several bronze coins, and handed them to the waitress.
"Thanks for the bread! It was... delicious!" she lied. At least it was something in her stomach. She turned her attention back to Ginseku.
"So, where are you off to know, Ginseku?"

"I'll see you around then..." Kasai smiled politely at his retreating figure. Quietly she walked over to her chair, picked up her staff, and vanished. She was off to explore some where else.

Kasai teleported off to the side of large stone builing in a dark alley. Her aim was better when she actually focused, but her mind was busy at the moment. She walked out of the alley and around to the front door. Once inside she walked up to the bar and plopped down at the bar.
"Back again I see? What can I getcha this time?" the bartender leaned on the counter, tapping his fingers against the stained wood.
"What's your house specialty?" Kasai asked timidly.
"Well... We don't exactly have a specialty... But we do have a favorite. Dredgall beer. Very good..."
"I'll... have that then..."
"Alright then!" The bartender reached onto the cluttered shelf of bottles and pulled down a large clay jug. He pulled up a glass mug from under the counter and filled it with the amber colored beer, then slid it her way. Kasai caught it, and took a sip. It was delicious! Very sweet and smooth. She took another large gulp before setting the mug down.
"Yum!" She smiled at the bartender.

Ginseku waltzed into the birdwing bar slowly, sporting two new rings on each hand. He aw Kasai almost immediately, so he alked over and plopped down in the chair next to her. "Sorry for the wait, i had to pick some things up." He smiled apologetically. Suddenly he heard something playing on the speakers of the bar. "Wait...This is...sparklehorse...I know this song.." He closed his eyes, listening to the slow, slightly sad but beautiful song. He began to sing softly, a hint of sadness hidden in the song. a guitar, a piano played. "so, so you think you can tell heaven from hell blue skies from rain can you tell a green field from a cold steel rail a smile from a veil do you think you can tell
did they get you to trade your heroes for ghosts hot ashes for trees hot air for the cool breeze cold comfort for change did you exchange a walk on part in a war for a lead role in a cage
how i wish how i wish you were here we're just two lost souls swimming in a fish bowl year after year running over the same old ground of how we found the same old tears wish you were here
wish you were here wish you were here...."

Kasai picked up the mug and took another swig as Ginseku walked in and sat down next to her. The mug was so big she had to hold it with both hands. She was half way done with her second mug when he arrived. When she heard the song he was singing she put the mug down and scooted it his way.
"Are you thinking of that Ryu person again?" She asked, cheeks now turning slightly rosy due to the large amount of beer she drank.

"Nonsense!" Kasai did a fake scowl before starting to giggle. She reached out and pulled the mug back toward her.
"It's good beer! Want a taste?" she asked, tilting her head to the side.
"Besides... No one can drink as much as the headmisstress..." The bartender had poked his head out from the back room.
"She can out drink a fish any day! And she only likes the strongest stuff made... A real nutter if ya ask me."
