Kafele had snuck away from Sabahive once more. This time he had gotten himself quite lost. Not being the most mature of lions he was starting to freak abit. After all a waterbuck was not supposed to go alone not even the males. While Kafele loved to break rules it had been a long time since he had seen Sabahive which got him abit upset. Kafele tried to figure out where he was, he seemed to be near a beach, but unknowing of the lands he was cluless.

A youngish cub was sprawled out on its back, sunbathing, the sun beating down gently, warming the ground and the small femme. Iola was wandering again, like she’s been doing the past couple of days. She couldn’t stand still…she felt restless, and antsy. Something normal for any cub to go threw, so much energy to burn off. But unfortunately this one didn’t have any cubs her own age to play rough enough with to get drained. Iola quickly found herself bored and stood, stretching out her limbs which had become stiff with laying in the same position for a long while. She leapt onto a rock and looked about, her purple body pressing against the brownish grey of the boulder. She heaved a sigh and twitched her tail in an annoyed fashion, eyes still skimming around the area for any sight of other life.

Kafele spotted something purple up ahead he lurked closer slowly in fear it was something that could harm him. Soon he realized it was a cub or rather in his mind a waterbuck fawn. He pranced in place abit then ran towards the cub. "Hello, little one!!!!" Kafele said stopping just infront of the cub. He wagged his tail and attemped to blow the part of his mane that hung in his out of his eyes, but it fell back into place like always.

She blinked as she saw an older male lion charging towards where she lain. She arched her back and leaned away from where the male was coming, caught un-aware of his presents until just now. She cringed slightly thinking the male was going to run over her, until she heard him skid to a stop just inches away. “Huh…?” She asked as she lifted her form and offered a half hearted smile. Iola looked the older male over, he had a goofy look on his face. She was sure he couldn’t be too mean. The cub’s normal enthusiastic energy returned, as she giggled gleefully and rose a paw into the air, swatting in his direction playfully. “Hellooo! Wanna...play?”

Kafele smiled and waggled his tail and pranced abit. "Id love too!! What shall we play? Leaping? Running? Stampead?" Kafele spoke in a quick excited voice wanting to play the games he had played as a cub/fawn with his adobted father Sabahive the waterbuck. He knew nothing of the games lion cubs would play, but as goofy as he was he would be up to learning anything.

Iola rose a brow at the suggestions the older male was giving her. “Leaping? Running?“ The cub gave a heavty snort and laughed, “I play those games all the time!“ Truth be told she never played those games before, and they seemed…different to her. Subconsciously she knew those were games she as a cub, shouldn’t be playing. But she still wanted to know what they meant. “What’s…stampede..?” She tilted her head to the side, giving him a bemused look. She knew she heard the word somewhere before but she forgot where.

"You dont know what stampede is?!!! Well its not my favorite game and its better with more to play, but its kinda like running save you have to go as fast as you can and run together and you have to go strait even if it means crossing water....hmmm maybe that's more for a teen, lets stick with running or leaping, unless you have an idea of what we could play." Kafele sat down as he talked, but his tail just swished back and forth still.

"Just for a teen!? Why, I'm just as strong as any full grown lioness!" Iola snapped with a huff. She now had her plush ears pressed against her skull. She didnt like when older animals told her she was too weak just because of her age, even thought it was with good intentions. Her slender, stubby tail thrashed side to side. "Ok then...I wanna play this stampede..thing... Hows it start?" She crouched down low in the grass that was just about as tall as the cub, and mock-growled. She flexed her small claws and dung them into the soil underneath her.

"Lioness....?" Kafele tilted his head and sat down.Kafele watched her with a raise brow he didnt really understand what she was doing. "What?....What are you doing?" He thought about it for a moment then smiled. "Ohhh you wanna play lions and waterbucks huh? I mean why else would you pretend to be a lion?" Kafele smiled again and wagged his tail.

"You mean you don't know?" The cub teased, how do you hunt?" The goofy look he gave her confused the cub. Was this guy for real? Pretend? The cub growled irritable, but didn’t do much else. "Yeahh....that’s it...we're playing pretend." Her voice coming out almost a purr. "I'm the hunter." She said, motioning towards herself, "And your...my prey." Upon stating this she pounced forward in attempt to tackle the male. Letting out a playful 'roar'.

"Don't know what?...I don't hunt." Kafele was clueless and had managed to survive some how on bugs. It had to have been a mind over matter thing that he was as healthy as he was. But then seeing that the game had begun Kafele leaped into the opposite direction from the cub and bounded in a zig zag pattern a bit aways before turning to see if Iola was giving chase.

Iola landed with an 'ompfh', as the male evaded her attack. Rising her head she let out a wicked cackle and rose to her paws, shaking her fur of loose hanging dirt. She fallowed suit after the male, though her path was wilily nilly, weaving in and out, of bushes that sat randomly in the savanna. Iola growled in protest as she quickly began to feel her muscles burn. She wasn't very fast, and normally never had to run so hard. With an ounce of her strength she looked up towards the lion who was making quick to make a distance between them. Iola's short legs couldn’t compete. But this was the first time in forever she got to 'play', and with that she found a new strength, bursting forward, with the last bit of might she had left, the cub roared. For the first time a powerful roar, one that came deep from her chest. One that her species was well regarded for. Iola liked that noise. Oh, she very much did.
