Have you seen this movie? It is AMAZING! The same guy who did Kiki's Delivery Service and Spirited Away made this one. Yeah, Disney got it's whorish claws on this one but its ORIGINAL and very un-Disney like. Have you seen it? What movies have you seen that was created by this guy? Hizo Mi...something. D: !!

I liked it. Not as much as I liked Laputa and Spirited Away, but I still liked it.
I want a castle like that one. :(

Hayao Miyazaki.
Howl's Moving Castle is one of my favorite movies EVER. I love it so much.
I've seen a bunch of his movies, they're pretty awesome.

Hayao Miyazaki is the fellow's name, and a damn good director he is. The Cat Returns is still my all-time favorite, closely followed by Whisper of The Heart (the precursor of Cat Returns).
If you want a good time, check out some of his first films (I personally suggest getting the original Japanese version with subtitles so you don't have to suffer bad voice acting). Classics like Princess Mononoke (Mononoke Hime), Nausicaa and The Valley of The Winds (Kaze no tani no Nausicaa), and My Neighbor Totoro (Tonari no Totoro). He also did some work with the Lupin III series...his movie, Lupin the Third: The Castle of Cagliostro (Rupan sansei: Kariosutoro no shiro) is easily the best movie of the entire long-running series. While Lupin III isn't his series, I still suggest picking that one up for a good bit of fun as well.
Also, if you like Miyazaki's flavor, then check out Studio Ghibli titles like My Neighbors The Yamadas, Pom Poko, and other such heartwarming films.

Damn skippy it was. I still cringe everytime I hear any mention of that horrid Wind Warriors revision that American television made from Nausicaa...it pains my little fanboy heart.

Although, I do have a non-japanese suggestion, just for the sheer ammount of detail in the animation. Fosters. It was recorded BEFORE being animated, and, hell, it shows. The detail in the lip-syncing is beyond what is needed. and the constant body movents and gestures really help.
But, On topic: Studio Ghibli is really damn good. @__@

Fosters...haven't seen it myself, but I'll look into it. As for the quality of the lip-sync and movements; are you sure it wasn't motion captured or rotoscoped?
Something I forgot to mention; Studio Ghibli put out a few animated shorts called 'The Jiblies' that depict exaggerated bits of humor staring the Studio Ghibli workers themselves. Awesomely hilarious stuff. I think they're on The Cat Returns DVD special features, but don't quote me on that.

Oh, and: "If you want 2+3=42, vote for me."
Mebbe I should see that...

Oh, you mean Foster's Home For Imaginary Friends! ^^; I thought you meant a movie named 'Fosters'. Yeah, I'll give them kudos for the lip sync on that one. It's all done in Flash, so it's really easy to do smooth animation there.
