talk about mis understanding lol she thinks he wants 2 be a father and. they think that he just wants 2. holands pounds all three. and the guys are funny as hell lol

I love this episode so much. It's always fun to see hollands expression when eureka asks him about being a dad and holland thinks that
1. Renton tried to force himself on eureka or
2. Eureka was pregnant

One of my favorite episodes for that reason alone.

Eureka: Maybe that's why Renton was bothered so much,
Talho: Huh? (Dumbstruck look)
Holland: What? (Dumbstruck look)
Eureka: I wonder if Renton wants to be a dad?
(Five second pause)
Holland: scream RENTON! WHERE ARE YOU?!

Id have to say this episode has some great lines especially when the crew splits by gender to support Renton or Eureka

Moondoggie:Theres something thats been bothering me
Hilda: Like what?
Moondoggie: Oh nevermind
Gidget: Oh no. You've built it up, now spit it out
Moondoggie: rolleyes Renton and Eureka..can they even..y'know...do it?
*5 sec pause*
Hilda: mad Pervert!
*Hilda and Gidget get up and leave the room*
Gidget:whats wrong with you guys?
*Mathieu and Moondoggie look at each other. Mathieu shrugs*
5 minutes later
*Mathieu and Moondoggie show up at renton's room and open the door*
Renton:What are you guys...
Moondoggie: stare Shhhhhh

I'd have to say it's the best so far! Just think, all this could have never happened if Hilda never saw Renton reading that magazine. It just goes to show, never assume anything.

Geez, this episode is like Renton and Eureka getting 'the talk.'

Thirty-Eight was the first episode I ever saw of Eureka Seven. I was so confused, didn't know who was who, but I thought it was HILARIOUS.

I also thought Holland was Renton's father. ;D

I'm going to have to agree with you. that one made me crack up. It's right up there with the one were Eureka tries to put on makeup. ^^LOL

This episode was pretty good. No the best in my opinion though.
