Rumors of suikoden 5 are circulating around the web, so theres really no doubt in my mind that there will be a new installement into this fascinating series.
So what would you like to see in Suikoden 5?
Personally I would like to see -
arrow Better plot - ok.....so the plots of suikoden 3 and 4 aren't really up to par in my opinion.
arrow Bring back naval battles - They were pretty awesome
arrow Bring back the artist from suikoden 2 and 3 - Definatly!!
arrow Longer game - make the game longer, it's too short
arrow Have the ability to decorate your castle - Walpaper, flooring, the works!!
arrow Better game music - The game music could really be better!!

i would like 5 or atleast a later game in the series to deal with either hikusaak and the war with aronia or shed more light on the conflict between yuber and pesmerga. bring back the traveling style of 1 & 2(also used in ff 1-9). i liked walking around the field and getting into random battles. all the games now use the tactics style of traveling. i would like it to have anime style cutscenes(preferably done by gonzo digimation or gainax). also bring back the dice game from 1. it was the best way to max out your money. the other games put limits on how much you can bet. sad
*also bring back the battle system from suikoden 1. it was my favorite.

It would be nice if they switched to cel shading, in particular, the style that was used in Dark Cloud 2. It would be nice to have the 6 member party back, too...

All I want is more Nay-Kobold characters.
Because damn it, Kitties just ROCK, and Champo and Chiepo were just ADORABLE, and I probably butchered the spelling of their names.
Also, I liked the idea of your headquarters being mobile in 4. I hope they bring that back (like an airship or something)

I'd like to see the battle system from 1/2 return. Those were the best ones, in my opinion.

Better storytelling. I had no problem with the changes in 3 and 4. 3 has a decent/good story and 4 was a decent story. I want the epics on 1 and 2. I don't have no qualm with the way battles are carried out, or the character design. Just the story.
Oh, and stop those painful scene shifts, seen in Koden 4.

I would want some more anime cutscenes as well, also if they are going to put voice acting in the suikoden games as they did in 4 get decent people to do them, also some harder duels where the person says more than just 4 things, and hopefully a close knit story like the story transfers between suiko 1 and 2

Suikoden 5? I would probably want it not to be on the Sea, I really did not like that theme, however, I think it would be cool if you could go to Magician's Island Again, or Maybe Harmonia.

Eh... As long as its more like Suikoden III, I'll like it. I haven't played Suikoden IV yet... >_<;;; It might be cool to have voice actors though, to make the dialouge between characters more dramatic.

Drake_Merit i wish they would show all of the true runes I wanna see all the true runes too, they've only shown us 5 (?) so far, and there are 27 of them.
