Somewhere deep in space, there is an abandoned ship. It was created by a mysterious and ancient race and no one is quite sure what it is capable of or why it is there. It has remained hidden in a cosmic cloud for millennia, but now the cloud has dispersed and the ships true size is left bare and plainly visible and now waits to be explored. Its secrets are ready to be discovered.

Age: 31
Race: Human
Appearance: Dark brown hair, blue eyes, tall, has scar on her right arm.
Bio: Commander of the earth ship Dessert Cat and leader of the human expedition to explore the ancient ship and return the information to earth. She is often stubborn and is sometimes very headstrong.
History: Has been in the space core for just under 12 years and this mission is her first command. She has always had a passion for exploration and has always been keen to learn new things.

Appearance: Brown hair, brown eyes, blue suit, long brown coat.
Bio: When the TARDIS started playing up, he lands in the middle of the abandoned ship, to start repairs.
History: Only Time Lord left, after the Time War. Has travelled from one end of the galaxy to another, and seems to have only just discovered girls...

"Now, what's gone wrong here?" the Doctor asked. The TARDIS had been playing the rebel again, and had completely changed the vector that they had been travelling on.
The TARDIS's response was to belch steam at him. He looked at the central console, muttered "Be like that, then". And then he stepped outside into the abandoned ship.

The exploration ship Dessert Cat docked with a heavy thud to the huge space ship. Commander Bridget Young stood on deck, a cup of strong coffee in her hand. She had been up all night making the final preparations for her expidition, now at last the big moment had arrived. She wondered what civilization had made the ship and what it was for. At last she and her crew would be able to start finding out.

Looking around, the Doctor felt uneasy. And with a good reason. He didn't recognise the make of the ship, nor the time that it was built in. That didn't bode well for his chances of finding out when he was...
Suddenly he heard voices. Speaking English. That must mean that he must be in around, at least the year 2341 on Earth. That was when they first developed long range space travel. Not wishing to intrude, he moved into an empty room...

Bridget and her crew walked in awe up the corridor, whispering to each other as they went. In the torch beams they could see doors leading off into other rooms, control panels and more interestingly many pieces of still intact antique furniture of a strange alien design. Bridget wondered again what race of people had built the marvelous ship, and where had they gone?

With his ear to the door, the Doctor listened as whoever it was moved off further down the corridors. Amazed that they hadn't opened the doors to see what was inside, he opened the door, and went off to explore on his own - the first time alone for a long time...

Name:Experiment 1254 Age:Unknown Race:Chemically grown Appearance:  Bio:Was a DNA experiment on the ship. History: Was an experiment that was created by a group of scientists on the ship, it was originaly a simple cloneing experiment but when the crew of the ship where attacked at one point in the ships history, the radioactive core of the ship was damaged and caused many of the crew to die and mutated experiment 1254 into killer that eats everything and kills anything. It killed around 27 members of the crew and then went into hibernation in a hidden part of the cargo decks of the ship.

As Jane continued to shine her torch over the walls, she was sure she had caught a glimpse of something moving in the shadows and though it had only been a glimpse, what she had seen terrified her. She screamed. One short, shrill note that made everyone jump.
“What is it? What’s wrong?” Bridget asked.
‘There,” Jane pointed to the wall where the creature had been “there was a thing, up there. I saw it move.”
Bridget shone her torch into the gloom, but she couldn’t see anything.
“Captain. Come and look at this.”
She turned toward the speaker, Lieutenant Russell Fitzgerald who shone his light over a giant section of the wall that had been torn out. There was dried blood everywhere.
“Keep your eyes and ears open. It seems we may not be alone.”

Making his way down the corridors, the Doctor was disturbed to hear a scream coming from nearby. Making up his mind in an instant, he ran off in the direction of the scream.
When he saw the group at the far end of the corridor, he slowed down, and started walking towards them. He heard snippets of conversation, enough to gain understanding that they'd found something on the wall, something that worried them.
One of the group said,"Keep your eyes and ears open. It seems we may not be alone". It was at this point the Doctor walked over. "Hi, I'm the Doctor."

1254 slowly analyzed the group that had just entered the ship. It was watching them from a hole above them. It snarled getting ready to pounce when suddenly a new member of the group appeared, and this alien was of different origins, he had two hearts and his cells had the ability to regenerate. Experiment 1254, started slink back into the shadows, he would wait before he killed these ones.

For a moment everyone stood staring at the new arrival. Then, true to form the accusations started flying.
"...Was it you that did that? You frightened the living daylights out of me..."
"...Was that supposed to be some kind of joke?.."
"...Or maybe he's hiding something, trying to scare us off..."

The Doctor sighed. "Look, it honestly wasn't me. I mean, if it looked human in appearance, you wouldn't have screamed that much." And as if to stop more accusations coming his way, he said, "And I'm not a shape-shifter." Well, not as you'd know it, he thought to himself.
He turned to the group. "I don't know what did that, I don't even recognise the design of the ship. And that's saying something. But I do know one thing," he said, pointing at the blood stain, "I don't think we're that welcome here."

Bio: Jacob is a rather arrogant, rash man. He is sent by the space pirates he works with to explore wrecks to decide whether or not the wreck should be plundered.
History: A man of above-average arrogance, Jacob spent his childhood dreaming of life, action and excitement amongst the stars. Eventually, at 18 years of age, he was recruited by a crew of space pirates.
