Yaaaay okay I go first.
Shinra smiled wickedly. Talon had chased her here, at the top floor of Shinra's HQ. "You can't stop me" she said evilly. "I'm going to become the next president of Shinra Inc!"
With that, she flicked her wrist and attempted to send Talon flying back into the opposite wall. She would start off brutally, as always...and would show no mercy to the Ninja.

DAMNIT! I still missed XD Your turn.
NOTE: Remember you can also physically attack during your turn, which would waste no MP. =) You can only cast Toad twice in this battle, but it is a very powerful spell.

Any screw ups and it could mean his life, but if he did this right, not only would he win the praise of his companions fighting below in the lower levels of Shinra, but also save the world from utter destruction by a lunatic.
With fluid movements he darted forward, unsheathing his katana. Yet, he didn’t strike, but leapt over her, than attempted to stab her from behind.

(THAT'S PERFECT)
Just as a quick recap: Your first number was a 5. My defense is only a 4, so you hit me! Yay! The middle two numbers are how much you damaged me for. (4) and the last number represents if you scored a critical hit. (you need to roll a 6 for that) You only rolled a 1, so you didn't crit me.
UPDATE: If you score a crit but also a miss, you won't crit but your attack will automatically hit and will ignore my defense. This is fair, since crit chances will be pretty rare. So the last number is like your accuracy/crit chance. =)
Scarlet felt the pain of Talon's katana in her back. It hurt a bit, but she would be okay. In a rage, she attempted to twirl around and backhand Talon in the face.

Note: If I had the Primal Rage ability that attack would have critically hit you, but I don't have it...sooo I need to roll a 6 just like everybody else!
But see, that's how abilities and spells help! =)
I might make notes like that throughout the fight, but you seem to be learning very quickly.

(Good, cause I’m blonde where it counts and the notes help ^^)
As he pulled the blade from the mage’s back he was sent to the ground, but quickly recovered with a roll and took a couching stance with his blade, a red mark upon his uncovered face, for he was a shinobi who rarely left his prey alive to see it. He sheathed his blade, raised both hands and quickly made the correct hand formations, summoned the correct magical energy and casting Toad.
(What do I do roll for magic that does no harm?)
HP: 46/MP: 10/Defense: 5
