You need to roll for three stats (HP, MP and Defense)
Roll one 100-sided die for your HP. If it's lower than my score, I get an extra 10 HP.
Roll two 20-sided die for your MP.
Roll one six-sided die for your Defense.

Those stats are good.
Your HP won't be 4. You'll have 50 HP, and I'll have 60 HP. (if you get a roll lower than 50 your HP is automatically 50 by default. But since I rolled higher than you I get 10 extra HP.)
You can use magic, I can't...and your defense rating is also higher than mine. It usually ends up being quite fair. =) Just watch....
FINAL STATS:
Lyrae:

HP: 60

Lyrae watched as her features seemed to change into that of her charachter. Her Opponant, going by the name of Kira, stood ready, waiting. Lyrae grined.
"let's get this started." Lyrae picked up her specialy desinged whip and slashed for a normal atack.

Kira felt the lashing pain of Lyrae's whip on her shins. This wasn't going to be easy, she thought. Kira ran up to Lyrae, pivoted on her left foot, twirled around, and attempted to roundhouse kick the mage in her face.
HP: 53/Defense: 2
((Since Kira has the ability 'Primal Rage' if I score a 5 or 6 on my last die roll I'll automatically crit you and do double the damage. Since you don't have this ability, you can only crit if you roll a 6...
also, if I roll a 6 on my last die roll but I also miss you, the attack will happen anyway...but I won't crit you. The same goes for you too. This is to balance the game. So just think of the last number as both your crit rating and 'accuracy' rating. The middle two numbers are how much damage you inflict if you do hit me. The first number represents whether or not you hit me, based on my defense.))
