So beautiful, this is where his travels had taken him now, the Pridelands. Breath taking as they were K'Anatak thought he might see some remnent of his father here, sensing something ehre that might lead him in teh right direction, unfortunately that wasn't the case. Now the large white god was strolling in the tall grass, oblivious to the fact that he could be attacked for being an 'intruder.'

But he meant no harm.

K'Anatak was only strolling now, searching out perhaps a voice to listen to, to talk to. It might be nice to come across another, have words with another in teh lighter sense. K'Anatak enjoyed life and its games that he could play, he loved hearing the wisdom of the old, the energy of the adolescent, and the life of cubs. It was all grand.

He sat back an dnestled himself within some tall grass, his white form peering over that which was before him. Perhaps this day would bring light to him once again.

Staying in the den was so boring, Wahabu had decided, that he was out playing again. Though he had his doubts about ever finding good playmates, he was always keen on playing despite this. He didn't get too far away from his family's den when he spotted something big, white and fuzzy in the distance. The cub stopped and watched the god walk several steps, then looked around hesitantly.

No one else was around, it seemed.

When he looked back towards the distant white lion, he'd stopped moving. Wahabu smiled inwardly and decided to take his chances on the stranger, and bounded towards him. His steps faltered when he got close enough to see that the lion had wings.

He was a god. Another god! There must be lots around here.

"Hey!" he cried excitedly, picking up the pace again and skidding to a halt infront of the strange god.

He heard something coming, turning his gaze to a bright yellow mass K'Anatak watched as the cub slid to a halt before him. He was an oddly colored cub, beautiful though, but odd. Something familair about him, what was it? Something upon him. Hmmm.

"Hello young one," K'Anatak said, but in a more playful manner then he would with another adult, K'Anatak loved cubs. Hoped someday he might have his own. "What're you doing out here all alone? Looking for a game to play?" he asked, blinking once or twice.

In teh black hues of K'Anatak he watched the cub, but he would not pry, he would not have the child reflect upon himself and his actions when so young, perhaps one day when they would meet again when he was older. K'Anatak always liked meeting up with those in teh past frequently.

Wahabu grinned widely at the friendly greeting the god offered him, quite pleased to have run into someone friendly. He nodded enthusiastically in reply to the question, "I was looking for a game to play, no one seems to like to play that much."

He sat down, swishing his tail on the ground in his excitement, and looked up at the god with wide, curious eyes. "What are you god of? What's your name?" he asked, adding the second question hurriedly- he didn't mean to be rude, "My name is Wahabu."

He smiled warmly down at the cub, so curious and full of life. He admired the cub and his curiousity, curiousity can help a lion in many situations, even in friendly ones such as this. "My name is K'Anatak, I'm the god of relfection....its quite nice to meet you Wahabu."

K'anatak thought for a minute, so he wanted a game? Hmmm, what could he offer the small child? He ruffled his feathers upon his back adn legs and though, maybe it was best to ask the cub what he'd like to do?"What would you like to do Wahabu? Anything in particular?"

"Reflection?" Wahabu repeated quietly, making a face as he considered what that meant. He couldn't figure it out exactly, and his expression was a dead giveaway of that fact. Luckily, he was easily distracted from it when the god asked him what he wanted to do. He smiled again.

"I-I don't know," he replied in an almost shy tone, but it was quickly dropped, "You want to play with me?" It seemed almost a strange offer from the god, and his mild surprise kept him from getting too excited all at once.

K'Anatak nodded, yet the cub seemed confused, "I have the ability, to help to guide others in a way, to help them, look onto what they have done, what they are, to give a sense of strength in themselves...confidence if you will at times...one day you will see." Wahabu was such a curious cub, he liked it, and he wanted to play? Well, he had to ablige, teh cub in K'Anatak was forever present in times like this.

"Of course, what would you like to do? Sneak amongst teh grass and pounce on some un-suspecting hoper bugs?" perhpas one day he coul show Wahabu how to fly. Well, Ka'antak would do teh flying, but Wahabu could be upon his back.

Wahabu listened carefully to the god's explanation of reflection, and he regained a thoughtful look as he considered it. His thoughts ended with the conclusion that, like Athrun, K'Anatak helped those that needed him, but in a different way. His opinion of gods went way up.

His ears perked up at the suggestion, but then he made a face, "I don't know. You can chase bugs on your own, it'd be more fun doing something different."

The cub nodded knowingly, then looked the god up and down. Hide and Seek and Tag were fun games, but wouldn't K'Anatak have an advantage? Maybe. Wahabu didn't have a lot of experience with playing with those his own size, let alone those who were much bigger.

K'Anatak noted that chasing bugs probably wasn't the best..he didn't want to squish any of them. Sometimes he just didn't really like the thought of it. What could they do...well, what did he and his brother play when they were little? Ah yes.

"How about 'stalker'?" he probably should've given it a better nicer sounding name, but thats all he knew to refer to it as, "It's sort of like hide and seek, see over there," he said pointing with a paw towards an area of tall grass. "We take turns hiding in it, trying to find the other without making a sound, you can move around to hide in differen't places, but once your found, you switch roles...

Or perhaps you would like something different, I must admit, it has been a while since I was your size Wahabu."

He continued pondering ideas while K'Anatak did the same, so deeply so that when the god made a suggestion he was startled out of his thoughts. Wahabu looked curiously on as K'Anatak explained the game.

"Hmm," he murmured thoughtfully and turned his head to the grass. Then he grinned, being smaller would be to his advantage for this game. They were about equally matched in the camouflague department at least in his mind for he knew little of illusion powers.

"Ok!" Wahabu agreed enthusiastically, "I want to hide first." He turned towards the long grass and took several bounding steps closer to it before looking back to see if the god was ok with it.

K'Anatak nodded to Wahabu as he began to bound off towards the tall grasses. It would be wrong for him to try and use an illusion to hide himself in this game, even to try adn use his powers to pinpoint the child. This would truly be a test of how good of a tracker and hunter he was without all the glory of being a god.

"Go on Wahabu, you can hide first..."

This would be fun, K'Anatak started off towards the tall grass, but would wait at the edge until Wahabu was situated within it. It had been so lon since K'Anatak could have a bit of fun with someone. This was just perfect.

Wahabu turned back to the grass and hurried into it. He was already having a blast and the game had barely begun, it was exciting to have found someone to play with and it definetely showed in the way the cub carried on. He had to stifle a purr-like growl as he shuffled his way through the grass. His position was easy to detect, until he started being careful.

The grass still moved, but to a lesser degree than when he was outright running through it. When he felt confident he was somewhere far into the grass, he slowed down to settle into one spot. He curled up, tall grass all around him, and couldn't help but sway his tail behind him as he waited anxiously for signs that he was being searched for.

Seeing that Wahabu had seemed to get himself situated K'Anatak began to go into the grass, padding slowly, almost silently through it, he poked up from the top easily, his wings brushing against the grass. This would be so much easier if he used his powers, but that would take the fun out of it.

The wind blew gently, but he noticed something moving slowly nad steadily, perhaps it was him? Who knew, so he began to close in on the area, perhaps her had found Wahabu already?

Wahabu's attempts to remain motionless were failing rather quickly, and he decided soon that he might be best off trying to move around a little bit too. With no sounds coming from the lurking god, he had no idea how close or far away K'Anatak was. Instead, keeping close to the ground, he started to inch away from his spot.

Unfortunately, he was inadvertantly heading towards the searcher.

The wind made the grass sway back and forth like the ebb and flow of the water at the waering hole he had seen before. This was more difficult then he would've thought. He kept going forward at a steady pace, though he did step on a few rocks and had to try and not make a sound even through they stung the bottoms of his paws.

K'Anatak wasn't watching where he was going very well because he almost stepped on something that was yellow and small. K'Anatak smiled down at Wahabu, "Guess we found eachother hmm? Would you like to hide again, or try to find me this time?" K'Anatak believed either way Wahabu would have fun, which is what he wanted.
