Okay for a 4-6 week period waiting period for my 3 months of gold I'm waiting on my 7th or 8th week now. I've just about had it. I don't understand how long it is to put two pieces of paper in a letter and stamp it.
Anyways I have quite a few friends that have live that want me to play them. They say just get a silver account while waiting and supposely you can play some games with Silver online but on xbox.ca it says you can't play any games online with Silver accounts.
My question is what should I do wait another week or two or get silver?
Can you play any games online with Silver?
What does silver exactly give you?
Once I get silver can I delete it and make a gold account once I get gold or can I make my gold account with the silver one.
Also the gold month that comes with the Xbox 360 would that eliminate my 3 months of gold I have in the mail?

Why do you need to get it by mail? Can't you go to the store and buy a 3 month of Live, or even a 12 month?
Can you play any games online with Silver?
You can only play MMO's online with silver, but you have to pay a monthly fee for those.
What does silver exactly give you?
The only thing it doesn't give you is online multiplayer and video chat.
Once I get silver can I delete it and make a gold account once I get gold or can I make my gold account with the silver one.
You can make a silver account, and once you get your subscprition, you can just put it on your silver account to change it to gold. You can keep your gamertag, info and any achievements you earned.

No. You can use your free month, and once it's over, you'll change to silver again. Then you put your 3 month in and you are good for another 3 months. Simple.

I read that as "you can always upgrade to god". xd
