Dhati was drinking from the stream that crossed his land, a smile on his maw. He was happy, he had nothing to worry about, his lands had become secure, apart from the silly pup that wandered off all those moons ago, everyone was here. Temari had another three pups and it seemed that all was good.
Maybe it was because he was a loving father, maybe it was some other reason but he hadn't noticed the problems his daughter was causing, he loved her greatly and had indeed spoilt her, maybe more then the boys. His son's, he loved greatly but they were to grow up to take over from him, guard and protect these lands, his daughter, well... she was there to look pretty.
As he finished his drink he laid down, his head resting on his paws as he thought about his children. Kadogo, he was about but could never be a leader, nor Sayid or... any of them. His son's were just not upto leading where as his daughter was, but however much he loved her, he knew that she was too dominant to become an alpha.
He let his mind wander, he knew what he needed, he knew what needed to happen. He didn't have time to bring up more pups with Mataka, who ever was taking over from him had to start their training now or very soon. No, Dhati needed a male. One who was mateless and one who could try and tame his daughter.
He sighed, looking up at the sky suddenly.
"Oh.. Haiji..." He whispered, he missed his cousin, so badly. "I'm sorry...." He should have never left her, he should have done as his father had wanted, instead he had recreated his mothers pack.
He had a decision to make now though. It was either Twawa take position as Alpha or, what was the or? He rarely saw his sons other then his dreamer, Uzushi he saw but he couldn't be alpha, he is just too playful. Oh what was an old dog to do.

Dhati raised his head, he wanted to round some of the pack up, he needed their help. He wanted Twawa to take over after him, she had the determination and the dominance, she just needed to be toned down a little, that was all.
Time to do a little searching. He raised his head to the sky and howled. Someone must hear that.

Jamaa had been dutifully making his rounds ever day, now stationing himself in the packlands rather running off someplace. He knew his 'son' in the graveyard was doing well. He knew Topas was happy with his new family. All was well he could suppose. Temari was about, though he does worry for her a lot, what would he do without her? He'd be broken....of no more use.....but at least his sons, Demani and Tahupotiki were up and about. Ryega, Agizo, Kianjahe were well, now exploring. Though the male would perfer them to stick with someone until he made sure it was safe for them.
The howl of rattled some of the leaves in the dense jungle the pack used for shelter. A male's howl, strong...but calling.
Dha....ti?
Curious, Jamaa decided to break his rounds for the moment and see what the Alpha wanted. He surely wanted something he howled like that, and surely wanted some to gather.
Jamaa walked over to him proudly, head high, chest out, walking nicely.
"Kaa'Kingojo, here, Alpha."
He replied, using his ranking in the pack as the only Guard instead of his name. Jamaa's tail was held slightly up, not showing his complete submissiveness to the Alpha. Jama dipped his head in a bow and brought it back up.
"You called, Dhati?"

Dhati turned and smiled,
"It is true, that I did. I how ever wished more would come." He sighed and then looked at the sky before turning back to Jamaa.
"What would you do to find a suitable mate for a child?" He needed help here, Jamaa had to help or Dhati might actually go mad, how would he find a way to tame Twawa.

"Well, I suppose I am all you have until the others get here. I will do the best I can to help."
Jamaa pulled his head back a bit with what he said. How to find a suitable mate for a child? What did he mean? Jamaa knew Dhati had his pups, the heirs and heiresses of the Mpinzani Pack. But why find a mate if....oh? Oh. Oh!
"I would do nothing, Dhati. They must find that person themselves, how could we interfere? However, if I must say, I'd accompany him or her around until you saw a suitable companion. What do you suppose?"

Dhati laughed slightly at Jamaa's proposal, "I take it you have never met my daughter. She is anything but nice, which is why I need to find a mate for her, one that will calm her and not fuel her amibtions for she is the only one it seems who could handle ruling the pack, and... she is far too, odd." He didn't like to talk poorly about his daughter, most of the time he would not even admit it to himself.
He let out a sigh and looked to the stars, "Why is life not easier sometimes..."

Jamaa frowned. His daughter? He heard about her from Temari. She had quite the foul mouth. But if what she said was true and would do what she said she would with Temari...Jamaa wouldn't be of much help.
"You're daughter...the heiress of the Mpinzani."
Jamaa let out a breath and sat himself down.
"We best help we could find a mate that could calm her and all of her ambitions. Well, there is Potiki and Demani, Temari's boys. But I dunno if any would be willing to. Potiki doesn't speak, intentionally of course, and Demani is well...not planning to do any of the sort. I am sure there is someone out there for her. Just not here in teh pack."
The Kaa'Kingojo sighed and looked at the ground. Who else did he know that was male and possibly had no mate, well since he has last known. There was Dafina, no he was too cruel and had a strong grudge against him and Temari, that would end up bad. There was....wait, that was it. In fact, the only wild dogs he knew of all had mates by now.
"If Life was easy, then it would be quite dull, right? What about looking outside of the pack for one."

Dhati listened and nodded.
"I believe you are right, could I send you to look for someone? They would need to be strong willed, patient and dominant. I can't really leave due to the pack. I may ask Uzushi to look as well next time I see him." The alpha sighed and looked to the sky.
"Twawa needs to calm down before she can even think of ruling..." He let himself collapse on the ground, why did he have kids again?

Jamaa smiled,
"Pups can be a handful, huh? Agizo, Kianjahe, and Ryega are always worrying me. Luckily I have Kiangazi, Potiki, and Demani to help Temari and I out. I just wished she was still here as well."
Jamaa looked down at his paws. It had been a long time since he has spoken of her, the pup he loved just as much as his mate, possibly more. He had thought of her on numerous occasions, but they usually bring up painful memories.
"Dhati, would it be wise if I left? I am the only Kaa'Kingojo here and well, the pack lands would be unprotected if I was gone. But I will do it if you wish me to, Dhati."
Jamaa, sat there watching him as he lyed down. Alpha must be a tiring job. Watching over a pack, ensuring it was safe, and determining an heir.
"Dhati...why are you considering an heiress now? Is there something we do not know about?"

*Kian wasn’t really looking for Jamaa this time around, but he always seemed to run into him. He had been taking a walk, strutting off his new form; he was lean and always seemed to smirk, giving off a charming impression to all of those that spoke to him. He was the adopted son of Jamaa, though if you put the two beside one another, it was hard to tell that he wasn’t blood related; he looked a lot like the older male.
Whatever the case, he now found himself standing not to far from his father and another male. Seeing how Kian was still new to the lands he wasn’t quite aware of the power the other male held. With a soft smile the young male padded over to his father and spoke out.*
“Hey dad! What’s going on?”

"I am sure some of my sons can keep guard, Uzushi is training to, I believe." He nodded, though it was hard to laying in the way that he was.
His ears pricked up at the sound of another and at the words of the male he turned to Jamaa, "Maybe there is something you haven't been telling me to." He smiled at Jamaa, he didn't believe the male was Jamaa's own child, he knew Jamaa was mated to Temari and doubted he would cheat on her.

Jamaa jumped a bit from when someone's voice called out to him. His golden gaze turned to the other male, the one just as old as Demani and Tahupotiki. The Kaa'Kingojo motioned the adol to him, he had forgotten to tell Dhati about this one here. Or maybe it was because the three have been so busy.
"Well, this is nice timing." Jamaa smiled and turned back to Dhati. He just hoped Kiangazi knew his manners to the Alpha....hell, if he even knew Dhati was alpha. "This would be the adoptive son I found at my family den back in the Pride Lands. Sorry, but I brought him here without your permission, Alpha. Jamaa could not simply leave the lone pup by himself out there."
Jamaa was growing nervous, the way he spoke just then made it apparent. He never used his own name when referring to "I" or "Mine" or "My", he grew not to use that anymore since he met Temari, but it always came up whenever he grew uncomfortable.
"Kiangazi, say hello to Alpha Dhati."

“Oh! So you are the pack leader-- It’s a pleasure sir!"
*With a surprised smile the young male bowed his head in respect and spoke.*
“Sorry if I am bothering you two- I was just looking for mom, thought I smelt her… but it was only you pops.”
*He grinned sheepishly.*
“I’ll leave now, sorry again!”
*Kian was unaware of the conversation before, so he felt best that he let the two continue on, Jamaa seemed kind of upset at the fact that he was spoken out so bodily. He was a young male, what was he to do? He wasn’t very bright but his charm always seemed to get him out of tight spots.*

Dhati looked at the young one and smiled, "Don't leave yet. Your growing to be a man, so surely you should be invited into a mens conversation, that and you could help your father on his new quest." He wasn't overly happy about the youngster going so soon. Dhati wanted to know his pack members.
"We were talking about my daughter Twawa, I doubt you would have met her or you would have recognized me, or at least my colouring." He looked at Jamaa to make sure he didn't mind the boy joining the conversation, all were equal here no matter what age, as long as they understand.

Jamaa smiled a bit when the male walked away.
"Oh no you don't, come back here, Kiangazi. You are old enough to be here. You are of age and a member of this pack so you are welcomed."
The Kaa'Kingojo turned his head back to Dhati. What did he mean by "help your father on his new quest." Did Dhati want him and Gazi to go find a mate for Twawa? Jamaa wouldn't want to put his son in danger.
"Alpha Dhati, do you think it would be a good idea to take Kiangazi with me? He just arrived here not too long ago and already you are sending him away with me to find a rogue male for the Heiress?"
He paused and looked back to his son and back to the Alpha.
"I have nothing against it, nothing at all. I am just wary of my son's safety."
