I just..wanted to do something personal for my boyfriend
for our two month
and this is what i came up with
as long as you smile back, i'll smile at you all day
missing you, i sit, listening only to songs
that remind me of you and your mannerisms
i don't really understand what you see
if you wonder the same, i do wish i could explain
honestly i'm not sure what it is
but something you have, i haven't seen
that alone
alone, is good enough for me
i don't care where you've gone, or what you've done
as long as together we share what's next
finland can get pretty cold
cold, when you lack a sweater
or someone with open arms i guess
i'm certain to you these words are like glossolalia
they do just kind of flow out, but it's not like they haven't got meaning
it doesn't seem to make sense, i know
but just remember
every word written here was written with utmost love
because i really do love you,
through every bone in my body, through every thought in my mind
i wish i had another way to say it
since 'i love you' seems to be pretty overused right now
and i wish i could tell you how i feel about you in three simple words
but i'm afraid that's impossible.
