~ The Rules ~
Ok, so you have to follow the rules. That's pretty much a given. All the rules are listed below. So, what happens if you break the rules? Well, if it's a first time offense or something really REALLY minor, you'll just receive some "friendly advice" (wink wink) or a warning from a crew member. If you are caught breaking the rules again, that's a strike against you and it gets put on your permanent record. If it keeps happening, you will begin to lose credits, and eventually will be banned. (Hopefully that will never happen!)
Well, on to the rules!
1) NO Powerplaying or Godmodding- This means don't make your self the almighty invincible one. You can't actually hit some one. You can "aim" for them or throw an attack their direction, but it's the other person who gets to decide whether or not they dodge the attack or get hit. And while on that point, don't always dodge every attack thrown your way. And most importantly, you CAN'T KILL PEOPLE. Only if you have pre-arranged that specific character's death with another person outside of the actual rp. (ie: You don't want to have that extra character lying around because you're bored with it, so you want to kill it off... >D)
2) Swearing should be kept to a minimum- Its ok if you use the occasional swear word tossed in to your rp for added affect, but just don't over do it. Trust me, its annoying. Remember, this is a pg-13 site.
3) No Cybering- There is guaranteed to be romance in a role play! But do NOT go above the pg-13 limit. Breaking this rule will result in an instant ban from the guild!!! Not to mention you'll probably get in trouble with the site's admins to boot.
4) No Quoting- Don't quote other posts in the rp threads. It takes up space and is a real hassle to sort through when looking for a specific post.
5) Don't Advertise- That is, unless given permission by a crew member (specifically Ryuka Navali). And when given permission, only advertise in the OOC sub-forum, or in the What Ever thread. There is one exception to this rule: Advertising for another rp thread in Tenshi through role play (ie: You made a club in the off campus forums, so you "pass out fliers" on campus or "hang a poster" up on a wall. etc)
6) No One Line Posts- Make each post at least one paragraph in length. That way, each post has some substance to it. Of course the length of posts will vary depending on what size font you use, but no ::start:: "Ryu walked to the door." ::end:: That will earn you a warning.
7) OBEY THE ToS- You must at all times obey the ToS set up by Gaia. No exceptions!!!
8 ) Listen to what the crew says- Please be sure to read the individual rules in the stickies and announcements. And of course, respect and listen to the crew members. We are here to try and help you as well as the other role players have an enjoyable rp experience!
9) You must make at least 15 posts within your first 2 weeks. If you don't you could be accidentally banned. The mods periodically clean out the member list and instantly ban anyone under 15 posts.
