The mysterious figure dropped the battered looking mouse off at Ursa's doorstep, so to speak, and Muris whimpered a bit, rolling over. This had to be some sort of bad dream. She could have sworn that her rescuer had been King Cervus, but...she had not seen him.
She recognized this room, though. The smells...the sounds,
"Uh...Ursa...?"

Ursa banged a book off the window sill, carefully watching the particles of dust rise and drop down. Her desk - the place she'd spent a GREAT deal of time at. A far great time. Her anti-social habits were slowly hitting back on her, and she made no habit to stab them in the back.
The adult preffered to be alone these days, although she'd always put on a brave smile and a nod when someone approached. Studying had taken up most of her time. She'd gone insane on knowledge, wanting to know everything about the medical and herbal world.
Books and books, piles of books... She just longed for normality once more, what did 'normal' girls do anyway? Get boyfriends? Go out with friends and have fun?
Coughing at the knock of the door, she put on the same brave smile, and dashed up to unlock the door, her face and eyes widening upon opening.

Muris stumbled in, her eyes and hair wild. She looked quite a mess-- her wrists were rubbed raw by the ties, and the dungeons were not necessarily the cleanest place in the world.
"Ur...Ursa?" she wasn't sure she believed any of this. She was supposed to be dead, or dying. Aranea...and what about Alcie?
She burst into tears, remembering. Alcie...he was dead...they had killed him..

"Muris, Muris!" She cried, leaning out to hug the Fey. "What on earth happened?!" She whined with her a little, she felt so helpless now. This wasen't how she wanted to see one of her good friends. It was awful, in such a state like this.
It made her want to sob along with her, but she couldnt, she needed to help Muris quickly before the wounds grew worse.

She flinched a second at the touch-- afraid, perhaps, that it was Aranea again...but no, it wasn't. She recognized the warm scent of her friend, though Ursa looked much different from the little girl she remembered...
"Alcie..." she sniffled, "They...they killed Alcie...."

Ursa took a deep breath, and almost wanted to slide down onto her knees. Instead, floods of tears fell from her eyes. She sniffed them up furiously, using her free hand to wipe under her eyes.
"Muris... Are you sure?" The sobbing continued, she couldn't take this in.. She couldn't understand, she didn't want to, she just wanted to cry, like a little girl; let all this emotion out into one sob.

Muris sniffled violently,
"They took me captive, when we tried to rescue Whinny...and...she said...they killed Alcie..."
She couldn't help it, her tears became an even more violent flood,
"My...Alcie..he's...he's dead..and...and..."
She shuddered violently. This place was so cold. No, it was the dungeon cold lingering on her, that must have been it. She felt so dirty...

Ursa sniffed too, her eyes grew weary, and the tears slowly declined. Bloodshot eyes left in its place, she hugged onto Muris tighter, trying to reassure her of... Something. Something that was worth going on for. It wasen't fair, this was happening... And it had to hit one of her friends...
She felt so horrible... So lazy... So guilty. She could've been there, she could've went along. But did she? No. Sat tucked up with a book. Shivering a little, she pledged something right there right then, locked in her mind, a promise to herself.
"C-c-come Muri..." She stuttered. "We have to g-g-get.. you cleaned up." She blocked out this news, she had to focus on helping her friend in need.

She couldn't stop crying, though.
"They..my...Alcie..and I was going to die...I don't...I don't even know how I got here..she just...let me go..."

"Shh shh." She dabbed off some of Muris's tears with the cloth in her hand, guiding the mouse Fey to sit down on her bed. "Don't think about it. I promise I'll help you find him, and we should say goodbye to him properly, and remember him for what he was right? A great man... Any man deserves that, the Moon Fey are just ruthless.."
She sighed, wiping her eyes clean.
"Lets get you cleaned up. Kay?"

She nodded, but she felt hollow inside,
"I...loved him, Ursa. So much. I...he knew, but...but..." she rubbed at her eyes. She was starting to feel dehydrated-- she'd been crying too much.
"He's probably still there, though..his body...but..we can hold a ceremony.."

"I understand.." She lied quickly, to reassure her. Indeed, she had no idea the world of love, she had never experienced that particular emotion. She longed to, but no-one had come along... Maybe she was just seeming desperate.
"A ceremony..." She nodded, collecting things to help Muris. A basin, a wet cloth, a dry cloth, bandages, a bowl, a spoon, bottled medicines, and odd looking herbs, she piled them slowly up at Muris's feet.

Muris looked up at her friend pathetically, her eyes getting more and more hollow looking,
"Why am I still alive...?"
She was going to die. To be with Alcie...and now here she was..alive...and she wasn't sure if she wanted to be.

She pushed the cloth down into the hot water in the basin. Pulling it back out only to ring it out and let the water soak. "Muris. Fate is an odd game... I can't answer that question.." She sighed simply, rolling up her sleeves.
She screwed open one of the caps on the medicine bottles. Pouring quite a fair bit into the basin, and taking a tiny bit on the cloth.
"This might sting." She slowly dabbed at her foot with the cloth.

Muris took in a quick breath, though the pain was not so bad as she expected. With how much pain she was already in, the sting was only a vague one,
"They had a cat..."
She prodded absently at the cuts on her skin,
"...I want...I wanted to die. I don't know if I still do."
