Here's my boring ref image to get the design down (pillbug + dino), take three. The first two takes were crap, though when I can photo them I should upload them for laughs.
Last night I tried sketching him proper, to see what bits of the design will mutate when I actually draw him more. These were the results.
Yes, he does try to eat small dogs and other household pets, something I still think an organoid should have tried (they ARE based off carnivores!).
Next step, color reference-he's too busy as just lineart. I must stop being a bum and get to work in GIMP!
