Since there are no NPCs that could fulfill this, you battle aganist other people in the RP.
First you and another trainer have to see each others posts on this page.
Post something like "Looking for a battle," "Wandering in the forest (plains, cave, desert, etc.)," anything like that, you can make up your own.
But once you post something like that you cannot post again until another person posts something like "Spotted [insert name], the trainer wandering in the forest... goes to initiate battle with [insert name]."
Then it is the first person's turn to post something like "Locked eyes with a trainer while wandering in the forest, battle begins."
Then your next post (for both) is your roster of pokemon including stats, attacks and percentage of hits for each attack.
Each person rolls one 10-sided dice to see who goes first (higher number).
The first person posts which pokemon is first in their roster and that pokemon's stats and attacks plus percentage for attacks.
They choose what attack and roll one 10-sided dice and if their hit percentage was 100% they hit unless the opponent rolls a 10.
90% is a hit with every number except one.
If a percent is an odd number like 85% you should round up the first time you use the attack to 90% and the second time you use it round down to 80%.
The opponent also rolls one 10-sided dice...
Use this chart:
100% - 1-10 is a hit
90% - 2-10 is a hit
80% - 3-10 is a hit
70% - 4-10 is a hit
60% - 5-10 is a hit
50% - 6-10 is a hit
40% - 7-10 is a hit
30% - 8-10 is a hit
20% - 9-10 is a hit
10% - 10 is a hit
(unless opponent rolls a 10)
