Here's the thing I don't view it as a real sequel to Rocky and they don't even call it that it's an "equal" as they put it. To me it's just another musical by Richard. I like it though. Bert's funny as hell. Shock Treatment is a wonderful song. Jessica Harper (SEE HER IN PHANTOM OF THE PARADISE!) is great. I think it's a good muscial it's not great. Worth the set though. That way you have it. and with me muscials tend to grow on me. I find myself singing songs to myself from it sense I saw it. The first time you watch it you'll be confused as hell but after a few times you just accept the silliness.

`Fashion Victim.
Living well and dressed to kill

`I have it.
It came with the 25th Anniversary edition of RHPS.
But I haven't watched it yet.
It's supposed to be a sequel to RHPS.

`Fashion Victim.

Actually, a sequel was written out, my friend could tell you the name of it, but it never happened. Shock Treatment just has like a few characters from Rocky, but only in name and relationship (Brad, Janet, betty and ralph hapschatt) it's no sequel, just an interesting 80's musical also done by richard o'brien. good flick.
The sequel was supposed to be called The Revenge of the Old Queen, the Old Queen being Frank's mother and the revenge being on Riff Raff. There's a script floating around on the internet... Janet turns into trailer trash, though, so it's kind of amusing, but Riff offs Magenta, and she was always my favourite...

Actually, the sequel was Rocky Horror Shows his Heels.

Revenge of the Old Queen was the third planned motion picture.

Check the Wiki for more info.

Shock treatment is good on it's own but I don't like connecting to to Rocky Horror. It would be better is it was actually Susan Surandon and Barry Bostawick but the change in actors totally ruins their characters for me. The actress that plays Janet in Shock Treatment doesn't even look remotely like her, and she sings WAY deeper. That bugged me a lot.

I love the song Bitchin' in the Kitchen though, it's hilarious.

Cosmo: Ever since I was a little boy, dressing up has always been my greatest joy
But when its time to be discreet, there's one thing you just can't beat
And that's a strapless, backless, classical little black dress
Well first you go rip rip rip, then you go snip snip snip
Then you whip in a zip zip zip and split it up to the hip hip hip
And as you strip strip strip, you shiver, quiver for that soft caress
As you slip slip slip into that little black dress
Bert: Ever since I was the einer kleiner Herren, it was the cordon blau for which I am most carin'
And the one taste treat so sweet that really can't be beat
Is what we have, ya, how you are, caviar, that little black mess.
Janet: Well first you go rip rip rip, then you go snip snip snip
Then you whip in a zip zip zip, split it up to the hip hip hip
Then as you strip strip strip, you quiver, shiver for that soft caress
As you slip slip slip into that little black dress
That minimal
Cosmo, Bert, Nation: Minimal
Janet: Criminal
Cosmo, Bert, Nation: Criminal
Janet: Siniful little black dress
Nation: Lets face it, Mac, that basic black is coming back
Bert: Lets face it, Mac, that basic black is coming back
Bert and Nation: Lets face it, Mac, that basic black is coming back
Janet: That minimal
Cosmo, Bert, Nation: Minimal
Janet: Criminal
Cosmo, Bert, Nation: Criminal
Janet: Siniful little black dress.

best song lyrics on earth! I love you richard! heart heart heart heart

It's good if you're willing to watch it at least twice, pick up on on the little things you'll miss the first time. Or, if you're like me, go online and find the script to "The Brad and Janet Show" or the the notes for "Rocky Horror Shows His Heels." Music is great. Listen to the soundtrack if nothing else.

Shocktreatment is amazing! I love it. But I didn't like it when I watched it the first time right after the RHPS because it was different from it. I was totally expecting somebody in fish nets! But after watching it a few times I love it to peices!

They weren't in it because Bostwick had other movie deals and I faintly remember reading that Sarandon asked for a million dollars, but I don't remember where I read that or how true it is.

Tim Curry was offered the parts of Brad Majors and Farley Flavors, but declined because he didn't think he could handle the American accent.

I want to see it, but I really wish they'd made Rocky Horror Shows His Heels.

Shock Treatment is great. It's just as much fun as Rocky. I waited for years for it to come out on DVD. I'm so glad it finally did.

Ooh. I own it.
It's awesome... The songs are veeeeery catchy.
And its so different from Rocky.
Like... Brad and Janet are two different people. I mean, literally not Susan or Barry, but two different characters also.
I AM CONVINCED COSMO AND NATION ARE SECRETLY RIFF RAFF AND MAGENTA!
I mean they got the whole incest thing...
xD
And Nelly's always in the background D:

See, I just hated that Brad and Janet were diferent people, if they had just two totally new characters i probably would have liked the movie
